2019 RECAP

EDFL MEDIA SAYS

A new-look side is being led by a new coach in a new division, so nobody really yet knows where the Sunbury Kangaroos fit within Strathmore Community Bank Division 1.

What we do know is that following the post-premiership retirements of Lachlan Baddeley, Christian Monaco, Jeremy Murphy, Jared Pretty, Brad Slater and Matt Welsh, coach Leigh Sporle is keen to inject some youth into the Kangaroos' side this year.

Clinton Young isn't expected to feature due to coaching commitments, but Sunbury will be able to sprinkle in some added experienced through the likes of Ferras Merhi, Osama Saad and Saad Saad to help support established stars Brenton Sutherland in ruck and premiership skipper Daniel Gregory (pictured), among others.
