Season Preview 2021 - Pascoe Vale

#RoadTo2021

2019 RECAP

Despite bowing out of the final series with a dismal 40-point loss to Strathmore, you have to consider Pascoe Vale's 2019 campaign a success.

Under experienced new coach Digby Morrell, the Panthers' talented list delivered the club its first finals appearance since 2016 with an 11-6-1 record and a healthy percentage of 117.03.

While the Panthers twice gave eventual premier Keilor a good run for its money in the home-and-away season and did well to put together a fairly consistent year, their 1.3-9 score line in the Elimination Final against Strathmore ended the 2019 season on a very sour note.

EDFL MEDIA SAYS

The top-end of Pascoe Vale's list looks very similar to what we've seen in previous seasons and despite the retirement of star defender Luke Foster, the Panthers have topped up their squad nicely.

Damandeep Aujla, Corey Le Favi, Nick Linton, Nick Parthenopoulos and Michael Sikora will all have significant roles to play for Digby Morrell in 2021.

Matthew Watson, Josh Cauchi, Jacob Polizzi and company make for a very dangerous forward 50 that could cause serious havoc if left unchecked, so the key to Pascoe Vale's success in 2021 could likely hinge on the output of its midfield.
