2019 RECAP
Greenvale finished a game and a half out of top four contention with a 10-8 record in 2019.
Aside from a Round 1 win over Pascoe Vale, the Jets struggled against the division's four eventual finalists, losing seven of the eight games played against the top four sides.
Close losses away from home against Maribyrnong Park and Strathmore in the second half of the season ultimately cost the Jets a place in the 2019 finals series.

EDFL MEDIA SAYS
We already know Greenvale probably won't start the season with its best 22 at home to Aberfeldie following reports of a shoulder injury to star midfielder, Addam Maric.
The Jets have a very good list of top-end talent, as per usual, but if they suffer a bad run of injuries and unavailability, as they seem to more often than not, then they might struggle to reach the finals this year.
At its best, Greenvale can run with anybody in Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division and if new coach Darren Bewick can help his group find consistent form week in, week out, then there's every chance the Jets will be contending at the pointy end yet again.
