Men’s Division Allocation Confirmed For Rupertswood

League Statement

RUPERTSWOOD’S senior men’s team will compete in Strathmore Community Bank Division One in Season 2021.

The EDFL Board of Management confirmed Rupertswood’s allocation into the League’s second tier of senior men’s football last night.

League CEO Ian Kyte said Strathmore Community Bank Division One was the best fit for Rupertswood given its recent success in the RDFNL.

“When a quality Club like Rupertswood chooses to join our competition, it’s vital we try to ensure that we can place them in the most appropriate division we have available,” Kyte said.

“Given the Club’s recent success in the RDFNL, where we saw them reach the grand final in Seniors, Reserves and Under 19.5 levels in 2019, we felt Strathmore Community Bank Division One was the clear choice for Rupertswood entering the 2021 season.”

Rupertswood has now become the 10th Club in Strathmore Community Bank Division One, joining Airport West, East Keilor, Hillside, Roxburgh Park, Sunbury Kangaroos, Taylors Lakes, Tullamarine, West Coburg and Westmeadows.

Here's how the EDFL's senior men's division structure currently looks for the 2021 season.
