The EDFL Women's Advisory Committee is now taking expressions of interest for 2025.
EDFL Board member Jan Chantry led the inaugural Women's Advisory Committee which sought to drive the strategic direction of female player representation and participation within the league.
Jan released the following message regarding the 2024 committee and how you can get involved:
A big thank you to the members of the Women’s Advisory Committee who this year have represented the EDFL clubs admirably – we have achieved quite a few wins in regards to girls'/women’s ability to participate in football!
We have a few vacancies on the Advisory Board for 2025 so if you would like to join us, please send through an expression of interest next year.
Special thanks to existing members Theresa Munro-Murch, Dee Brown, Callan Tenabel, Troy Newton, Shaun Bannister, Blair McFarlane, and Sian Eddington whom I hope will all return again next year!
Merry Christmas to all our girls and women and we look forward to an even bigger and brighter future in the EDFL ranks. GO GIRLS!
