THE EDFL is seeking expressions of interest for Investigations Officers and Independent Tribunal Members.
Women play a key role in the administration and governance of the EDFL in a broad range of roles within our affiliated Clubs, through to members of the League’s Board of Management.
One of the EDFL's values, as expressed in our Strategic Plan, is ‘we will create an inclusive, safe and diverse environment’.
EDFL Chairman, Bernie Shinners, has appealed to women within the League to consider these roles.
“Presently the League has only one female, Penny Godsell, on our Tribunal Panel and we should have more,” he said.
“Certainly at least enough to have a full panel of three female members to sit on any reports arising from female football competitions, but this is not intended to restrict where female members may serve.”
Many women have the skills and experience required for these vital roles.
