It will be third against fourth to kick off the action with Aberfeldie hosting Moonee Valley at Aberfeldie Park West.

The Fog has found some form in recent weeks winning their last three games, their last loss coming against Aberfeldie in Round 7.

Aberfeldie stretched out in the second half of that game kicking six goals to one to take a 51-point win.

Moonee Valley will be buoyed by their win against Maribyrnong Park last week and will understand their position in the four hinges on wins with a significant percentage deficit with the sides beneath them on the ladder.

Abers' only losses have come to Oak Park and Hillside and they’ll be keen to keep applying the pressure on those side in double-chance territory.

Nena and Pasadena EDFL Match of the Day will be treated to a clash between Essendon Doutta Stars and Hillside at Nipper Jordan Oval.

Hillside will head in heavy favourites having not dropped a game so far this year, but Douttas will be hungry to ensure their finals dreams stay within reach.

The Sharks won by 22 points the last time these sides met with league leading goal kicker Caitlin Sargent kicking three goals.

Hillside pulled away in the second half but Marie Napoli’s side will be hoping they can stick with them for longer and give themselves a chance.

Oak Park will head to Joe Brown Oval to take on Keilor as they look to get back on the winner’s list.

It was a loss the last time out against Hillside in a tight tussle, while Keilor won their last game by 44 points against Westmeadows.

Team selection will be interesting with Keilor potentially gaining a few from VFLW finals to give them a boost against a tough opponent.

The Kangaroos won this matchup by 122 points in Round 6.

Maribyrnong Park will host Westmeadows to round out the action as the Lions look to push into the top four pending other results.

The Lions downed the Tigers by 50 points when they met earlier in the season and Marby will be keen to bank the win with Oak Park and Hillside in two of their remaining three games.

Westy kicked their second highest score of the season against Marby.

Airport West takes on Greenvale at Etzel Street Reserve this weekend.

Airport West will have a real test to prove they are a genuine premiership contender this weekend as they look to finally defeat a top two side.

However, Airport West’s form has decreased over the last few weeks with them drawing with Keilor Park last round.

Greenvale have managed to defeat Airport West twice this year already quite easily, and will therefore see no reason they can’t do it once again.

They will also be looking to rebound after a loss to Burnside Heights last time out.

Burnside Heights hosts Tullamarine at Burnside Heights Recreation Reserve.

Burnside will be looking to keep building their momentum as they head towards the finals in first spot and as premiership favourites having defeated Greenvale in their last contest.

The last time the two sides met, Burnside won by 100 points and the Bears will be confident they can repeat that result this weekend.

Tulla defeated Strathmore/Pascoe Vale in their last match and will be hopeful of carrying that momentum into this week's game.

Tulla will know the odds are against them but will be hopeful of a season-defining win on the weekend.

Strathmore/Pascoe Vale will play Keilor Park at Boeing Reserve this Saturday.

Strathmore/Pascoe Vale had a disappointing loss in their last outing to Tullamarine leaving them in last position eight points below everyone else and making this week's match a must win if they want to avoid the wooden spoon.

They have failed to beat Keilor Park in their two previous attempts but were only just beaten on both occasions and will be more desperate than ever to register a win as the fate of their season may rest upon the result of the match.

Keilor Park will be confident of defeating the combined team for the third time this season after they drew with Airport West last weekend showing continual improvement.

They will also be aware that a win will ensure they are safe from the threat of relegation and as such, will be keen to secure the four points.

Roxburgh Park and Coburg Districts will battle it out in an intriguing matchup to kick off the full day of action at Lakeside Reserve.

Roxy sit third behind Districts in second and have been the big improvers winning their last five games, two of which against current top four sides and handing Sunbury Lions their first loss.

A win for Coburg Districts gives them breathing room in the top two, whereas a win for Roxy could see them swap positions depending on the result.

Coburg Districts won by 30 points in their Round 3 clash.

East Sunbury and Sunbury Lions will battle it out at John McMahon Recreation Reserve.

The Lions are coming off a couple of weeks off with their last match a loss to Coburg Districts.

East Sunbury meanwhile, are still searching for their first win.

Taylors Lakes will play host to Glenroy as they aim to keep their finals hopes alive.

A win will push them into the top four and with Sunbury Lions and Roxburgh Park to follow, they need to secure this one.

The Lions won this last meeting by 36 points on the back of four goals from Amelia Alexander.

Mystical Hair matched her effort with four goals up the other end, but will need some support in front of goals.
