Kicking things off in Round 12 in Airport Toyota Premier Division is a clash between Essendon Doutta Stars and Aberfeldie at Nipper Jordan Oval.
The Stars are coming off a loss against Oak Park, falling at the hands of their opponents by 20 points. Meanwhile, Aberfeldie wrapped up their weekend with a radiant 132-point win against Maribyrnong Park.
Round 9 was the last time the sides met, with Aberfeldie put on a thrilling display in the second half, outperforming the Stars to take out the win by 36 points.
Moana Hope was a top performer for her side, kicking two goals on the afternoon.
Ada Pizzinga impressed for the Stars with her two goals.
With just five rounds of the season remaining, both teams will be eager for the win.
For Aberfeldie, who currently sit on first with a 9-2 record, securing a win helps bolster their position on the ladder. A win would help Aberfeldie extend its percentage, which sees a 234.46 difference between first and second.
The Stars are building momentum at the right time of the season, as they sit on a record of 7-4. A win here would almost solidify their spot in the four.
Hillside will host Keilor at Hillside Recreation Reserve this weekend.
The Sharks cruised to another win last week as they toppled Moonee Valley. The 24-point win sees them add to their impressive 2025 campaign.
Keilor also took out a win over the weekend as they pulled off a gritty win over Greenvale.
The last time the two sides met was back in Round 7. Hillside took out the win at Keilor’s home turf, toppling their opponents by 27 points.
Emma Picone was a crucial part of the game, kicking two goals to help her be named one of the best players for Hillside.
Despite the loss, Keilor provided some great highlights, including Natalie Dunne and Olivia Manfre, who both kicked goals for their side.
A win for Hillside could mean a potential return to the top ladder pending results, but importantly keep them in the top two.
For Keilor, they’ve shown flashes of brilliance this season. But their upcoming clash is a chance to put four full quarters together against one of the premiership favorites.
Greenvale has a clash to prepare for this week with Moonee Valley at Greenvale Recreation Reserve.
Following a disappointing eight-point loss to Keilor last week, Greenvale will be looking to put their woes behind them and prepare for what could be an interesting match-up.
Moonee Valley also suffered a defeat, falling short of a win against Hillside by 24 points. Both teams will be hungry to return to the winner’s circle.
When the two sides last met, Moonee Valley pulled off a 75-point win at Ormond Park back in Round 8
Charlotte D’Ambrosio’s dominance on the field, encompassed by her seven-goal haul was crucial in Moonee Valley securing the win.
Nadia Valenti also impressed, kicking five of her own goals on the afternoon.
Moonee Valley’s performance was key in keeping Greenvale scoreless until late into the second quarter.
While Mooney Valley is fighting to finish strong, a win could potentially see them lift up a spot on the ladder and keep a glimmer of finals hope.
Greenvale on the other hand, has a chance to prove their better than the ladder says. They’ve shown heart all season, so a win will be a huge reward for their effort.
Rounding off this week's action are Maribyrnong Park and Oak Park, who both will meet at Monk Oval.
Maribyrnong Park suffered a brutal 132-point loss to Aberfeldie last week.
They face a massive test heading into their game this week against Oak Park. Their opponents secured a 20-point win against Essendon Doutta Stars.
The last time the two sides met was back in Round 5 where Oak Park suffered a scare and fought until the very end to secure a win by four points at Walsh Oval.
Sasha Nelson was an absolute force on the ground, kicking three goals in the thrilling match. Maggie Styles was also on fire, bagging three goals of her own.
Alex McBride-Loane did what she could for Marby. Her kicking frenzy did not go unnoticed, with the Lions talent finishing the afternoon off with six goals.
With Oak Park’s sights set on finals, every win matters if they want to secure a top-two finish.
For Maribyrnong Park, they'll be hoping for continual effort and a stronger performance than last week.

Round 11 of Airport Toyota Division One gets underway with Burnside Heights preparing for a battle at home against Westmeadows.
Last week, Burnside Heights fell short of a win against Keilor Park by 39 points.
Meanwhile, Westmeadows are fresh off of a 10-point win over Coburg Districts.
Round 6 was the last time the two sides met. The Bears were the ones to have the last laugh, securing the win by 49 points at Willowbrook Reserve.
Holly McGregor was a highlight in the win. Her two goals helped her side charge towards the victory.
The Bears' dominant performance left Westmeadows to come away with just a goal.
A win for the Bears can see them stay in the hunt for the premiership this season, and send a strong message that they're not done yet.
As for Westmeadows, a win will mean that they keep their double chance hopes alive.
Coburg Districts and Tullamarine are set for a clash at Cole Reserve.
Coburg Districts suffered yet another loss, this time at the hands of Westmeadows by 10 points.
Tullamarine also comes into the new round, looking to put behind them a 106-point loss to Strathmore.
When these two sides last met in the season, it was back in Round 4 at Cole Reserve. Tullamarine pulled off a defiant 31-point win against a depleted Coburg Districts front.
A number of Tullamarine talents shared the duties, and helped push the side to the win.
Laura Damore, Tricia Devine, Laycee Eustace, Amy Warden, and Rachel White all kicked goals on the afternoon.
Katherine Jansen scored Coburg Districts' lone goal.
A win for Tullamarine can go a long way. They've had their struggles, but this game can lift morale and shape how the side finishes as the regular season draws to a conclusion.
Districts are desperate to break the losing streak, and this may just be the golden opportunity they've been waiting for should they secure a win this weekend.
Strathmore will take on Keilor Park to close out the round at Lebanon Reserve.
Strathmore were relentless last week. A dominant 106-performance leading them to secure the win against Tullamarine.
Keilor Park also head into the new round off a win following an impressive 39-point win over Burnside Heights.
The last time these two sides met was back in Round 6 at Keilor Park Recreation Reserve. Strathmore was the one who pulled through and got the job done, ending the afternoon with a 27-point win.
Talia Motta led at the goal face last time around. Her three goal-haul helping her side to victory.
Keilor Park showed some glimpses last time around, with Caitlyn Crameri, Georgia O’Donovan, Krystyn Raymundo, and Kyiesha Taylor all kicking goals.
Strathmore winning the game will keep their undefeated streak alive, and send another warning shot to the rest of the competition.
But beating the top side would be huge for Keilor Park, and a huge confidence booster as the team heads into finals.

Roxburgh Park will host Gisborne at Lakeside Reserve as Round 11 gets underway.
It’s the sides’ first meeting since Round 1 after the Round 6 meeting was forfeited due to an injury-riddled Roxburgh Park list.
With both clubs coming into this one following commanding victories, this match-up should be an interesting one.
For Roxy, a third win on the trot was a 100-point outing over East Sunbury.
Madison Bayes, Jameson Best, and Summa Blackburn were a handful for the Thunder combining for 11 goals, while Dakotta Liddy was named the Magpies’ best-on.
Can this rising powerhouse side take to the challenge of Gisborne, or will it be the Dogs having the final say?
Gisborne soared again with a tenth straight victory, now leading the competition by three games.
The 40-point win over the Roos was another reason to justify why the Dogs are flag favourites.
Alexia Todorovic moved to equal-first spot on the division goal kicking ladder after booting one, five others also scored alongside Emma Willams' bag of three.
The Dogs look strong, but so too does Roxy.
It should be interesting to see how this plays out.
Taylors Lakes and Sunbury Kangaroos will meet at Lionheart Reserve to close off the round.
The two clubs will meet for the second time in a month with the Roos winning it last by 25.
Taylors Lakes has been one of the power sides in this season with a strong 7-3 record.
These Lions were hot last weekend with a 44-point victory over the opposing Lions from Sunbury.
Sarah McNally was a showstopper with a bag of four, closely followed by Stefania Valerio with three.
With the side averaging almost 11 goals a game, the Lions know how to stamp authority on the scoreboard.
Rebecca Foggie will be one to keep an eye on after she picked up a tenth consecutive best-on-ground naming, leading the competition in that aspect.
But the Kangaroos know how to get over Taylors Lakes, they have done it before.
The unexpected 25-point upset sent shockwaves through the league, particularly considering the Roos were down 0-13 at the first change and held the favourites to just two goals.
They’ll look to draw on the efforts that saw them put up a positive display against the ladder leaders.
Summer Pazsa again will be one to watch while Kelsie Gill booted a second goal in just her third game for the year, hoping for more.
The 5-5 record indicates a rocky season for the Kangas, but finals looming in a month’s time drives their will to win.
Will another upset be on the cards here, or will the Lions strike back? We cannot wait to find out.
