With finals quickly creeping upon us in Airport Toyota Premier Division, teams will be hoping to secure another win in the penultimate round of the season.

Greenvale gets things underway, kicking things off with a clash against Aberfeldie at Section Road.

The Jets fired up and secured a 61-point win against Maribyrnong Park to see them return back in the winner's circle.

Meanwhile, Aberfeldie continued their red hot form, claiming a seventh-straight win after taking down Hillside by 25 points.

This week's clash between the sides will mark their third meeting together. So far, Aberfeldie has beaten them both times, most recently in Round 10 by 80-points, and prior to that by 164-points back in Round 5.

The last time the Jets faced the Aberfeldie, Emily Smith helped lead her team to victory. Her three-goal haul helped push the team to the 80-point win.

Meg Grogan, Moana Hope, and Amelia Wright also stood out, kicking two goals each.

Awatea Poutini was the Jets' lone goal scorer on the afternoon.

For Aberfeldie, a win will help bolster their position on the top of the ladder and keep them in good stead ahead of the upcoming finals.

But a win from the Jets will could help lead them to finishing off their regular season with a bang.

Maribyrnong Park will be hoping to put behind a tumultuous season behind them, as they prepare to take on Essendon Doutta Stars at Monk Oval.

It hasn't been the easiest season for the embattled side, with a win yet to be secured by them this season.

The Stars didn't have the best week in Round 14, with the side suffering a 15-point loss against Keilor.

The sides have yet to meet this season, with their scheduled match in Round 6 ending in a forfeit and the Stars being handed the points.

One of the premiership contenders for this division, Hillside, will be hoping to return to winning ways when they take on Moonee Valley at home.

Hillside is currently on a record of 2-0 when they play Moonee Valley, with their most recent win back in Round 11 where they secured the victory in the gritty 24-point win.

Emily Paterno led the way for the Sharks with her three goals.

Nadia Valenti continued her impressive season campaign, kicking two goals in the match.

For the Sharks, a win will give them bragging rights but also continue to bolster their position on the ladder before heading into finals.

But a win for Moonee Valley would keep its faint finals hopes alive.

Rounding up the Premier Division is a clash between Oak Park and Keilor at Green Gully Reserve.

Oak Park is coming off a blistering 54-point win against Moonee Valley last Saturday.

Keilor is also heading into the new week with added confidence after downing Essendon Doutta Stars in their 15-point win.

The last time the two sides met, Oak Park took charge early on in the game and cruised to a comfortable 72-point win to leave their opponents goalless.

Maggie O'Connell shone on the field, kicking three goals.

Alex Quiqley and Felicity Theodore also contributed, bagging two goals each.

A Kangaroos win would consolidate their double chance with Marby to come in the final round.

Anticipating is building in Airport Toyota Division One with finals almost near us. With the regular season concluding this week, all teams will be gunning for their last shot for another win.

Tullamarine opens up the fixture with a clash against ladder leaders Strathmore.

Last week, Tullamarine endured a 66-point loss to Keilor Park that saw them with back-to-back defeats.

Strathmore were handed the points following Burnside Heights forfeiting the match.

As the two sides prepare for the upcoming clash, Strathmore sit on a win record of 2-0, taking down Tullamarine both times they met in the season so far.

The last time they played each other was back in Round 10 where Strathmore demolished Tullamarine by 106 points.

Talia Motta was unstoppable in the game. Her impressive five-goal haul helping Strathmore secure the win.

Maya Koo and Maeve Langston provided their own highlights kicking two goals each.

While a win from Tullamarine might not shift the ladder dramatically, it will help them end their regular season on a high.

Burnside Heights will host Coburg Districts for their upcoming clash this weekend.

The Bears had a break in their schedule after forfeiting their game against Strathmore, while Coburg Districts fell short of the win by 19 points against Westmeadows.

Round 9 was the last time the two sides met. The Bears secured the win by a stunning 39 points.

Krissy Trang kicked four goals and was named one of the best players in the game. Her teammate Holly McGregor bagged three goals.

Helena Katsios was a standout for Coburg Districts, kicking two goals.

A win from either side won’t change the ladder dramatically. Though for the Lions, it's a last chance to pick up a win for season 2025.

Rounding out the fixture is Westmeadows, who will face off against Keilor Park at Willowbrook Reserve.

Westmeadows last week secured a 19-point win against Coburg Districts.

Keilor Park also kept the celebrations going, defeating Tullamarine by 66 points.

Both teams are tied to a win each in the two times they've played each other so far. Their upcoming game on Saturday will be the game to see who takes out bragging rights ahead of finals.

Round 8 was the last time Westmeadows and Keilor Park met, with the Tigers taking out the win by just 11 points.

Danielle Linton stood out for the Tigers kicking two goals.

A win for Westmeadows could see them move up a spot depending on how things play out in Burnside Heights clash with Coburg Districts. While a win from Keilor Park may not dramatically change things up, but it'll be a big confidence booster for the side.

The final round of this Airport Toyota Division Two season is here and the premiership contending teams are looking to make a statement before it all starts to matter next week.

Sunbury Lions are just a win and percentage out of finals, but they’ll have to take a massive scalp if they want to be there, with Gisborne standing in their way at Clarke Oval.

These two last met just two weeks ago at the same venue when Alexia Todorovic booted four, paving the way for a 64-point Dogs’ win.

The 5-8 Lions know their way around finals football; however, the side was on the wrong side of the scoreboard in last year’s grand final.

Gisborne enters this one following a 124-point win over East Sunbury, the match perfectly summing up its dominant season that has led to a 13-0 record.

The Dogs had nine goal scorers last week and they’ll look for more of the same as the side looks to become the first team in Division Two to finish the season with a perfect record since Airport West did in 2023 (with one draw).

So, the Dogs are playing for pride, while its do or die for the Lions who must win here.

If they want to finish with the coveted fourth spot, they need to win big and then hope their crosstown rivals, the Sunbury Kangaroos get over Roxy.

An early finals preview will highlight the round as Sunbury Kangaroos welcome Roxburgh Park to Eric Boardman Reserve for Nelson Alexander EDFL Match of the Day.

With the sides placed third and fourth respectively, it is very likely that we’ll see these two back at it again next week in a do-or-die elimination final.

But with Roxy’s fourth place in limbo, they must win here to secure their spot.

Both outfits enter this one following close losses at respective margins of 18 and nine.

Madison Bayes continued her impressive form for Roxy while it was Summer Pazsa for the Roos.

The Magpies took the bragging rights in their last hit out with the Roos, winning by 31 under the lights at this same ground.

With both sides winning one each in their past two meetings this season, who will win the decider?

The 2025 home and away season closes off as East Sunbury winds up its season with a game at John McMahon Recreation Reserve against Taylors Lakes.

In a season to remember for its positives, East Sunbury will be hoping to finish it on a high note.

Kicking more goals in this season than last has been something to celebrate for the side, in addition to their commitment to the club week by week.

Taylors Lakes will use this match as one last opportunity for a hit out before next week’s top-of-the-table qualifying final.

The Lions got some revenge on the Kangas last week, who had beaten them twice as underdogs previously, the Lions going up by 18 following co-captain Sarah McNally’s two majors.

While Taylors Lakes look towards this year’s finals, East Sunbury will use this match as an opportunity to bid farewell to the season that was, and prepare for 2026.
