GREENVALE registered its first win for Season 2019 in comprehensive fashion at home to Maribyrnong Park last week.
The Jets led from the outset, largely thanks to the impressive performances of Madison Campbell, Jessica Stassi and Fredda Puruntatameri, with Arthurina Moreen also kicking three goals.
Essendon Doutta Stars will also come into the game full of confidence, having beaten Avondale Heights by 108 points at Canning Reserve last Friday night.
They should have fresher legs after having an extra’s days rest over the Jets.
The Stars kicked 16 goals in the game against Avondale Heights and had nine different goal kickers, including four by former Western Jet, Aleesha Hobbs, and two each to Shelby Meyers, Kate Bacak, Lauren Sims and Sophie Fazzolari.
Greenvale will be after its second win a row, but Essendon Doutta Stars will have other plans at Buckley Park.
TULLAMARINE v COBURG DISTRICTS

Tullamarine sits in sixth position on the ladder after four rounds, but has the talent and experience to challenge higher-ranked teams after some good recruiting over the summer.
Tricia and Bianca Devine have come to Tullamarine from Roxburgh Park and former Blue, Emily Angelidis has been amongst the best players in each of the opening fixtures.
Tullamarine’s win over Keilor Park in Round 4 was reflective of its ability, as they beat the higher-placed team after securing the win in the second half.
Coburg Districts ran into a red-hot Moonee Valley side in Round 4, going down by 97 points.
Abigail Storer was busy around the ground, kicking one of the Lions’ two goals for the match.
Coburg Districts is still searching for its first win of the season and will be ready to take its opportunities against Tullamarine at Leo Dineen Reserve.
But a more-experienced Tullamarine unit may just have the edge.
