The EDFL is excited to announce its September School Holiday Football Camps, powered by Rookie Me, the official Talent ID partner of the EDFL and AFL.
Working again with Rookie Me, we will be delivering two tailored camps focused around ‘Finals Footy’ and 'Talent ID Preseason Preparation’.
The 'Finals Footy' program is aimed at our EDFL juniors aged 9 to 12, with a focus on developing and preparing for the key areas when playing for premierships. Explore the Football, Leadership and High Performance requirements that that can take you all the way to winning the flag.
This camp will be held at Overland Reserve, East Keilor on September 20th with activities, skills and games designed to teach our future stars how to execute the fundamental skills in high pressure situation, how to find the confidence to make an impact and how proper preparation prevents poor performance.
The 'Talent ID Preseason Preparation' camp will be held at the Maribyrnong Sports Academy on October 2nd and will target our EDFL young guns aged 13-18 looking to take their football to the next level this offseason.
The focus of this camp is all about setting up your offseason and kick starting 2023. Gain a greater understanding of your physical state through completing a verified AFL testing event.
As well as the verified AFL testing event, participants will partake in skill development and game sense activities programmed to set your sights on success.
