Several EDFL juniors have been selected in the Victorian Metro Squad for the upcoming Under-19 National Championships.
Aberfeldie's Charlotte Baskaran (Pictured) has been one of the leading midfielders so far in the NAB League this season and has been named alongside Western Jet teammate and Keilor junior, Montana Ham.
From the Cannons, Abbey McDonald and Reece Sutton have made the cut for Metro.
Their selection comes just days after the pair were confirmed to be playing for the Sunbury Kangaroos this Airport Toyota Women's season, when available.
Both players featured as juniors for the Sunbury Lions and Aberfeldie but it is a true homecoming for McDonald who played her last game for the Kangaroos in 2018 after joining the club three years prior.
The Under-19 National Championships commence this Sunday in Ballarat.
