ALL 26 competing EDFL clubs have now confirmed their 2018 senior best-and-fairest winners.
Aberfeldie was the final club to hold its vote count last week, with two-time Reg Rose Medallist and 2016 Reynolds Medallist Luke Blackwell adding yet another accolade to his growing tally, claiming his third B&F in four seasons with the reigning premier.
Also among this year’s notable winners was Airport West’s Bior Malual, who was named best-on-ground in this year’s Essendon Ford Division 1 Grand Final and named on the wing in the Team of the Year.
Tamer Abdallah marked his return to the Northern Saints by claiming the club’s B&F - his second in three years after doing the same with Westmeadows in 2016.
Three players claimed back-to-back titles this year, including 2018 Reynolds Medallist, Will Martiniello (Maribyrnong Park), Essendon Ford Division 1 Team of the Year captain, Ash Arrowsmith (East Keilor) and East Sunbury youngster, Lachie Brne.
There were also six new recruits that claimed their club’s main prize in their first season, including Ciaran Sheehan (Avondale Heights), Jordan Hughes (Burnside Heights), Justin Blackley (Coburg Districts), Nick O’Kearney (Keilor), Matthew Watson (Pascoe Vale) and Michael Farrelly (Roxburgh Park).
