Old rivalries will reignite when Keilor takes on Aberfeldie in what is shaping up to be an important match for both sides.
Abers will have the chance to remain undefeated if they knock off the reigning premiers, while Keilor are in danger of losing three in a row.
The Two Blues are playing good footy and it’s hard to see them losing, but if anyone has the history to knock them off, it’s Keilor.
Oak Park have staked their claim as one of the sides running with Abers this season, but will face Maribyrnong Park who are coming off a sound win against Keilor.
The Kangaroos are led by their star forwards in Alex Quigley and Sam German and will provide a huge task for the fourth-ranked defense in the competition in Marby.
Hillside are fresh off two victories but will face stiff opposition in Moonee Valley.
The Fog knocked off Keilor a couple of weeks ago and currently sit third.
They’ve been a prolific scoring side but have leaked some sizeable scores sporadically in 2023 so Hillside will be hoping that’ll happen again.
For the Sharks though, Both of their wins have seen them score 25 and 38, so they’ll need to lift that in order to get the win against the Fog.
The final game of this round beckons to be a good opportunity for either side to get back on the winner’s list with Westmeadows hosting Strathmore.
Sitting at the bottom of the ladder with one win a piece, Strathmore haven’t won since Round 1 in their upset over Keilor, and Westmeadows haven’t tasted victory since their Round 2 win over Marby.

Burnside Heights suffered their first defeat of 2023 last week and if Greenvale’s ominous form is an indicator of Saturday’s result, it’ll be tough for the Bears to ensure it’s not two losses on the trot.
Greenvale has been potent at both ends of the ground this season and will be looking to remain undefeated.
Gisborne enjoyed a comfortable victory last week on the back of Charlotte Noonan’s seven goals and will be wanting to carry that momentum over into their clash with Sunbury Lions.
Sunbury Lions have had a reasonably tough draw with losses coming against the top sides in Greenvale, Douttas, and Burnside, but they’ve taken care of business against the lower sides they’ve come across.
This poses as an opportunity to test themselves again against a side that will be in the finals mix.
Essendon Doutta Stars have been impressive so far this season after handing the Bears their first loss of the season last week, and their only loss coming against a rampant Greenvale outfit. They’ll face Tullamarine.
Tullamarine have had a difficult beginning to their promotion year following their Division Two flag and will be aiming for a competitive display under lights in their twilight fixture at Jacana Reserve.

Aberfeldie’s second side has had a strong start to the season and will look to take it up to Coburg Districts.
The Lions have conceded more points than they’ve scored, while Aberfeldie 2 have been stringent in defense.
Marby 2 and Westmeadows 2 both sit on a win a piece, and a win will boost either side to the top half of the sides sitting outside finals.
Westmeadows are coming off a heavy defeat to Airport West, while Marby were able to push Coburg Districts.
In other games, Airport West will play Pascoe Vale, while Sunbury Kangaroos will come up against Moonee Valley 2.
