There’ll be just two games in Airport Toyota Women’s Premier Division this week due to the second half of the split round taking place.
Aberfeldie and Strathmore will face off at Aberfeldie Park West with Aberfeldie still undefeated, and Strathmore sitting last with just the one win.
It’ll be the second time these two have met with Abers comfortably winning the first game by 58 points.
Taylor Moss and Alicia Rievers kicked two goals each for Aberfeldie, with Marlo Zambelli and Ellie Huggard named their best.
The Mores were held goalless but had valuable contributions from Maeve Langston and Brittany Gee.
The other game will feature Hillside and Westmeadows at Shark Park.
Both sides have three wins with just 0.67 per cent separating the two on the ladder.
The Sharks won this contest the last time they played by 15 points with Tylah Hooper kicking two goals and the Wilkie twins playing pivotal games.
It was also announced during the week that Rob Davis will not coach the side beyond this year, so there’ll be some extra motivation for the side to finish the season strong.
Burnside Heights and Gisborne will meet at Burnside Heights Recreation Reserve to kick off the Division One round.
You’d think Gisborne have locked away fourth spot, while the Bears could potentially have more to play for with first spot up for grabs, while they could also miss out on a second chance.
The last time they met, the Bears won by 11 points with Kayla Ravanello booting three goals.
Greenvale will host Essendon Doutta Stars this week in what will be their third matchup for the season.
The Jets have taken both games, with their last matchup just a 13-point win, a 40-point improvement for Douttas on their Round 1 clash.
Burnside Heights have proved the Jets aren’t infallible as an upset victory for Douttas would give them a good look at a top-two finish.
In the final game, Sunbury Lions will host Tullamarine in a twilight fixture.
The Demons recorded their first and only win this season in this previous meeting in comfortable fashion, winning by 53 points.
Courtney Annett kicked three goals and was named best in that game, with Laura Devlyn-Bennett and Jayde Cook each kicking two goals.
