THE Essendon District Football League is today saddened to hear of the passing of Life Member, Max Stone OAM.
Mr Stone served in a number of capacities over many years with the EDFL and his loss will be felt greatly by many in the EDFL community.
Mr Stone was the Deputy Chairman of the EDFL Tribunal and also served as its Racial Vilification Officer.
He was also greatly involved with the Glenroy Football League, where he was also a Life Member.
Glenroy will wear black arm bands this weekend.
The EDFL offers its condolences to the Stone family.
