THE EDFL’s hardworking media team has again been recognised ahead of next week’s AFL Victoria Community Media Awards.
Once again this year, EDFL Match of the Day (Best Matchday Radio Coverage) and EDFL Web TV (Best Online TV Show) have been shortlisted while EDFL Tonight, the EDFL’s newest radio show launched back in March, has also been shortlisted for Best Radio Program.
Both EDFL Match of the Day and EDFL Web TV have won in their respective categories in recent years.
All three shows grew significantly as the season went on, as game highlights and expert insight became the focus of this year's coverage.
Everyone involved in the EDFL’s Media Department, be it on the air, on-camera or behind the scenes, should be proud of their efforts in maintaining a high standard of work in promoting the Essendon District Football League.
Next week’s awards ceremony will be held on Friday.
