Every club is represented in the 2025 Airport Toyota Division One Team of the Year!
The undefeated premiers in Strathmore are unsurprisingly well represented with seven members in the final 22 led by captain of the Team of the Year Clara Toperosa, and coach Shaun Bannister.
Toperosa will again start in the centre with Burnside Heights' Holly McGregor the starting ruck, and decorated duo Gemma Wright (Westmeadows) and Krissy Trang (Burnside Heights) the other rovers.
Emma Kassis-Baker (Westmeadows) and Charlotte Jackson (Tullamarine) fill the full back slots with Tulla teammate Tricia Devine at centre half back.
Mores pair Yasmin Welsford and Elisha Wain will start on the half back flanks.
There's more Strathmore star power filling the half forward flanks in Milla Murphy and Emma Artigas, with teammate Talia Motta in one of the full forward positions.
Keilor Park key forwards Georgia O'Donovan and Caitlyn Crameri will round out the talented forward five.
Payton-Ani Ozols (Burnside Heights) and Alexandra Kilty (Keilor Park) will start on the wings.
The bench of the Team of the Year is comprised of Kiara Asani-Davis (Burnside Heights), Skyla Cain (Strathmore), Krystal Lilomaiava (Keilor Park), Ruby Smith (Westmeadows), Sarah Docherty (Coburg Districts), and Laura D'Amore (Tullamarine).

All EDFL Teams of the Year are compiled based solely on the input of each club’s senior coach.
The 2025 Airport Toyota Division One Team of the Year was to recognise the best players of the 2025 home-and-away season.
Other factors such as reputation or form in previous seasons were not to be taken into account.
The Coach and Captain of the Year were determined based on the feedback provided by the senior coaches.
