2019 RECAP
West Coburg broke-even at 8-8 with a percentage of almost exactly 100 in 2019 after being relegated from Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division at the end of the 2018 season.
A 20-point win over eventual preliminary finalist Tullamarine in Round 13, a game in which Team of the Year sharpshooter Liam Bowkett failed to kick a goal, was among one of the better wins the Burgers collected for the year.
Falling two wins short of finals by season's end, West Coburg could have snuck into fourth spot had it have been able to reverse its fortunes in close losses against Westmeadows, Hillside and East Keilor.

EDFL MEDIA SAYS
Not listed as an incoming transfer, because there is none, is former Melbourne and Collingwood stalwart, Lynden Dunn.
The 33-year-old with 198 games of AFL experience looms as a massive wildcard up coach Dale May's sleeve as the Burgers look to climb the ladder and into finals contention in 2021.
Tom Baravi is a big loss in the midfield, but with Dunn and fellow new inclusion Daniel Archer joining Liam Bowkett in West Coburg's key post stocks, many are tipping the Burgers to be one of Division 1's big improvers this season, especially after showing plenty of promise against Strathmore in a recent practice match.
