2019 RECAP
It was yet another impressive year for Tullamarine, with percentage the only factor keeping the 12-4 Demons out of the top two by home-and-away season's end.
The Demons shot themselves in the foot in their final home-and-away game of the year, giving up a top two berth by going down to Hillside after a poor start to their Round 18 clash.
Tullamarine recovered from the Round 18 loss to defeat Westmeadows in the knock-out semi and made a good fist of getting back to Windy Hill again for the 2019 decider, but fell just 10 points short of East Keilor in a tense Preliminary Final at Coburg City Oval.

EDFL MEDIA SAYS
Strathmore Community Bank Division 1's most consistent finals contender should be thereabouts again come the end of this year's home-and-away season.
There will be a smattering of new names in the Demons' line-up come Round 1 at home to West Coburg, but the fact there is only one asterisk (Blair Cronin) among 2019's key performers listed above means that Dave Connell has a couple of pleasant selection headaches coming into the new season.
Last year the club prioritised leg speed in its recruiting strategy, so it will be interesting to see the game plan the Demons roll with in the early rounds with some very tough opposition featured in their early schedule.
