RETURNING Essendon Doutta Stars play-maker Brad Langtry has claimed his club's best-and-fairest nod for 2017.
The 29-year-old returned to the club after three years away and not playing any football in 2016.
He missed five games during the year but when he did front up in gold and navy blue he shone, ranking among their best players in 10 of those 13 outings.
Langtry finished ahead of Jamie Allan and Jordan Schroder, while Douttas' only Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division Team of the Year member, Jack Landt, finished fourth.
