LODGED TRANSFERS

EDFL Media Says: Airport West are coming off an incredibly dominant season going undefeated and taking out the flag with a healthy percentage. Their top-end talent should make them competitive and they should have a few opponents earmarked as well and truly gettable. They'll kick off their season against newcomers Keilor Park, but they'll have to wait until Round 5 for their 2022 grand final rematch against Tullamarine.
Round 1 Fixture: Keilor Park (H)
2023: 2nd (10W, 3L, 288.92%)
Coach: Michael Davis
LODGED TRANSFERS

Out: Jacqueline Smith (Aberfeldie), Akima Manaoh (Wyndham Suns), Ally Salpingidis (East Sunbury) & Stacey McKinley (Boisdale-Briagolong).
EDFL Media Says: Burnside Heights were seconds away from a grand final berth before bowing out in straight sets in 2023. New coach Michael Davis has a strong side to work with that should feature prominently come the pointy end of the season with their top-line stars continuing on. They'll need to contend with a few unknowns entering the season, but those other clubs will have certainty on the strength of the Bears.
Round 1 Fixture: Greenvale (A)
2023: 1st, runners-up (12W, 2L, 355.78%)
Coach: Troy Newton
LODGED TRANSFERS
In: Renee Tierney (Essendon), Alana Barba (Essendon) & Sophie Pettman (Keilor).
Out: Chanel Caruso (Hillside).
EDFL Media Says: It's been two consecutive grand finals for the Jets who've been so close to promotion to the top flight and should be in the mix again in 2024. Their list has largely remained the same with Chanel Caruso their only transfer out, while Sophie Pettman has moved across from Keilor and North Melbourne VFLW-listed players Alana Barba and Renee Tierney have transferred in following AFLW stints. Troy Newton is keeping a lid on things but we'll wait and see if they can go one step further in 2024. Burnside Heights first up is a great test.
Round 1 Fixture: Burnside Heights (H)
2023: New in 2024
Coach: Luke Baker
LODGED TRANSFERS
In: Carlie Chircop (Old Yarra Cobras), Keira Dorrington (Melton), Kylie Garth (Airport West), Alana Vidov (Caroline Springs), Mia Tournas (Caroline Springs), Alexandra Kilty (Maribyrnong Park), Tahlia Reeves (Werribee Centrals), Laycee Eustace (Werribee Centrals), Destiny Eustace (Werribee Centrals), Marissa Selaidinakos (Caroline Springs), Emily Laidlaw (Point Cook), Mackenzie Carr (Point Cook) & Nyanthier Malual (Werribee Centrals).
EDFL Media Says: The Keilor Park Senior Women's side is back and they've moved straight into Airport Toyota Women's Division One! Coach Luke Baker has been able to bring across players with experience to ensure they compete but also continue to stick together in the reformed Women's program with some on-field success.
Round 1 Fixture: Airport West (A)
2023: Newly combined in 2024
Coach: Ron Sikora
EDFL Media Says: Strathmore's first season in the top flight didn't go as planned and they find themselves back in Airport Toyota Women's Division One where they lost just two games on their way to the flag in 2022. They lost some key personnel in the offseason and will combine with Pascoe Vale who struggled for numbers at various points in 2023. It's great to see both sides able to hit the park and with them still featuring some talented and experienced players, it'll be even better to see them get some on-field success.
Round 1 Fixture: Tullamarine (A)
2023: 5th (2W, 11L, 44.51%)
Coach: Travis Fitzpatrick
LODGED TRANSFERS
In: Elisha Wain (Aberfeldie).
Out: Rachael White (East Sunbury), Danira Leafa (Roxburgh Park), Chloe McIntosh (Roxburgh Park) & Holly Jared (Taylors Lakes).
EDFL Media Says: It was a tough first season in Division One for Tullamarine in terms of results, but it was affirmed by 2023 coach Peter Labbad that the results didn't reflect how they were going. Incoming coach Travis Fitzpatrick and his troops will face some unknowns in 2024 in terms of opposition sides, although with strong retention and the inclusion of Elisha Wain, they should find themselves on the other side of results throughout 2024.
Round 1 Fixture: Strathmore/Pascoe Vale (H)
