The EDFL is proud to announce the launch of its EDFL School Holiday Football Camp powered by Rookie Me. Rookie Me is the Official Talent ID partner of the AFL.
The School Holiday Camp will be delivered across four non-consecutive days at Windy Hill and St Bernard's College from Wednesday June 29th to Friday July 8th.
This camp will be run by highly accredited EDFL and Rookie Me staff as well as current AFL & AFLW players representing the Essendon Football Club, in the name of promoting engagement, participation, skill and leadership development, and high performance in AFL across all ages between 10 years and 18 years.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Football skill and game sense development through relevant games, techniques and training activities.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
Concentrating on the elements to develop and educate an athlete through preparation, performance and recovery.
LEADERSHIP
On and off-field personal growth and character development through the Leadership program.
The program offers participants to get involved in the camp days based on their age group.
June 29th (Boys 10-12 year olds) - Fun Engagement Focus with introduction to Talent Development and Elite Standards.
July 1st (Boys 13-15 year olds) – introduction to Elite Standards and High Performance Focus.
July 1st (Boys 16-18 year olds)- introduction to Elite Standards and High Performance.
July 8th (Girls 10-18 year olds) - Fun Engagement Focus with introduction Elite Standards/High Performance Element
