THE Westmeadows Football Club has this evening confirmed that Dane Swan will be able to line up for the Tigers in their two upcoming games in Essendon Ford Division 1.
The 2011 Brownlow Medallist was named to play in Saturday’s clash with local rival, Tullamarine, before reports emerged on Friday afternoon that Swan would not be allowed to play due to insurance reasons.
However, after holding talks with the AFL earlier today, the Tigers were able to confirm that Swan will indeed be lining up in yellow and black at Willowbrook Reserve this weekend.
Swan will also play on ANZAC Day against Oak Park at Willowbrook Reserve.
Both games will be broadcast LIVE on Mixlr.com/edflfooty & 98.9 North West FM.
