Rookie Me are offering a Talent Development Program this off-season to members of the EDFL community!
This is an opportunity for you to gain a greater understanding of your physical ability. Where you will measure (assess), develop (train) and compare (reassess) through a custom program designed for you.
This Rookie Me program designed for the EDFL players is:
- POST-SEASON ASSESSMENT: October 2023 players attend an AFL combine event to measure the players’ athletic ability.
- SUMMER TRAINING BLOCK: Individual testing results will be used to create a personalised running and conditioning program for each player, to work through.
- PRE-SEASON REASSESSMENT: At the end of January 2024, players will attend a second AFL combine event, to recognize their individual improvement and help them better reset their physical goals.
This initiative is designed to support you to continue to build an understanding of your physical capabilities and growth areas, and most importantly profile your progress for future identification.

Type: AFL Combine re-assessment
Date: Tuesday January 16th, 2024
