Deer Park has made it three wins from its last five after defeating Greenvale by 54 points at Section Road.
The win means Jamie Madigan’s side are still a mathematical possibility of playing finals, however it is unlikely given they are two games and percentage out of the top five.
Saturday’s match didn’t provide any help to Greenvale’s chance of the survival, however the Jets remain in ninth spot and less than three percent above last.
The two sides couldn’t be split to start the match, however Greenvale had plenty of chances to take the lead but only managed to kick 2.7 for the quarter.
The visitors gained the ascendency in the second term with four goals which helped open up a 17-point lead, before piling on seven majors in the third quarter to extend their lead to 47 points.
Another five goals for the Lions in the final term were enough to ensure a comprehensive victory.
Lions coach Jamie Madigan said it was a very good team effort after a slow start in the first quarter.
“The midfield, led by Anthony Anastasio and Luke Scicchitano started to win the clearances and Josh Cooper and Billy Cannolo provided run off half back," Madigan said.
“Dylan Conway provided a focal point and was the difference in the end with six goals.
“Overall, a very pleasing team effort.”
All the usual suspects starred for Deer Park, however Daniel Strnak and Rusi Komaitai both had their best games for the year.
Despite going down, Riley Leedham managed another three goals while Royce Goudy and Jonathan Keratianos showed promising signs.
Deer Park will be hoping for more of the same when it hosts Douttas, while Greenvale will meet with Keilor at Joe Brown Oval.

Keilor has inched closer to top spot after defeating Airport West by 93 points at Hansen Reserve.
The victory means the Blues have now won 10 in a row and are only a game behind Strathmore.
Airport West is still searching for answers with the side having won just one of its last 13 games and are languishing at the bottom of the ladder.
Coach Mick McGuane was pleased with how his team started the game as well as how they defended the ground except for in the third quarter.
The Blues made their intentions clear early on, booting 10 goals to two in the first quarter and shut down any chances of a new coach bounce for Airport West.
Keilor backed it up with another two in the second term before the Eagles restricted them to just two majors in the third quarter.
With the result in no doubt, Keilor still finished strongly kicking six goals in the final quarter to run away with a thumping victory.
Chris Kosmas was the point of difference forward of the ball booting eight goals, while Christian Olivieri and Liam Hude combined for seven goals between them.
Luca Muratore was a handful for the Keilor backline booting three goals, while Thai Macumber and Darcy Irvine fought hard all day.
Keilor will be looking to keep its winning streak alive when it hosts Greenvale, while Airport West will take on Strathmore at Lebanon Reserve.
MARIBYRNONG PARK 11.12 (78) def. ABERFELDIE 9.14 (68)

Maribyrnong Park has given its finals hopes a huge boost after defeating Aberfeldie by 10 points at Monk Oval.
Saturday’s win is Marby’s second win over Abers in 10 years and first since 2021.
It now means Marby leapfrogs Abers into fifth spot and are equal on points with Douttas and only a game behind Pascoe Vale.
Meanwhile, Aberfeldie's form away from Clifton Park continues to be an issue, with the side having only won twice away from home in 2026 against Keilor and Airport West.
The home side started strongly kicking three goals in the first quarter and went into the first change with a 10-point lead.
Abers hit back with five goals and took a nine-point lead into the main break while Marby could only manage 2.1 for the quarter.
Marby wrestled back the momentum in the third quarter with three goals for the term, however they still found themselves down by a point at three quarter time.
With the game on the line, Marby held its nerve, kicking three quick goals to snatch back the lead and run away with a tight 10-point victory.
Scott Clarke and Jack Mantello both had strong games and booted two goals each, while Mac Johnston continued his strong season.
Jackson Barber and Jhett Gaskett made the most of their opportunities up forward with three goals each, while youngster Max Hoffmann showed more positive signs.
Marby will be hoping prove itself again when it takes on Pascoe Vale at Raeburn Reserve, while Abers will meet with Hillside at Clifton Park.

Maribyrnong Park has claimed back-to-back wins for the first time this season following a 16-point come-from-behind victory over Hillside at Shark Park.
In a rematch of Round 2’s encounter, the Sharks opened the contest strongly, getting out to a 2.3 (15) to nil lead at the opening break, holding the upper hand until the fourth quarter.
It’s a fifth win of the season for Maribyrnong Park, with the Lions putting on a final quarter clinic to run away winners.
After being held scoreless at the opening change and coming back to trail by just one at the final break, the Lions were never ruled out of the contest.
Maribyrnong Park completely unleashed in the final 20 minutes to score 3.0 (18), bolstering its chances for the four points.
Tegan Matthews again led the scoring proceedings with two majors.
Named best on ground, Montana Kerr put a goal up on the board for her side.
Dimi Papadopoulos, Darcie Robinson, Ava Steel, and Saskia Williams all found one apiece.
It was a tremendous display from Hillside following its heavy defeat last weekend, with some promising signs on show.
Four Sharks sent the Sherrin between the big sticks, with Madelyn Hartley, Hannah Ibrahim, Paula Pavic, and Krissy Trang writing their names in the books.
Lilly Neralic was named as one of Hillside’s best-on.
The Lions will now await Saturday’s encounter against Strathmore at Boeing Reserve.
Hillside will remain at home and look for another strong performance when it faces Moonee Valley.
STRATHMORE 5.5 (35) def. OAK PARK 3.5 (23)
MATCH CENTRE
Strathmore put an end to Oak Park’s eight-game winning streak in compelling fashion, coming from behind to walk away 12-point victors at Lebanon Reserve.
It was a dominant Oak Park that opened proceedings at Mascoma Street, with two first-quarter goals going the way of Holly McGregor and Sasha Neslon.
The Roos were looking to sing the song for a ninth straight match, and their ruthless opening term performance certainly made it look like they would go all the way, holding Strathmore scoreless at the change.
But after Tayah Kelly put the Roos’ third goal on the board following a strong mark in front of the sticks, it all started to change.
Something within the Strathmore camp clicked, with the gold and navy blue scoring the next five majors to take the win and truly assert themselves as premiership contenders.
Named the Doutta Galla Hotel Player of the Match, Zoe Davies commenced the Mores' route toward victory, with a Charli Sette goal following shortly.
Davies was a star across the field, with time in the ruck, attacking forward, and holding strong in defence highlighting her day.
Milla Murphy and Sarah McKinnon also had accurate kicks at goal, and it was another major from Sette that sealed the win in the final quarter.
Terira Fry and Sarah Dargan were named as some of the Oak Park’s best.
Mores coach Shaun Bannister was thrilled with the come-from-behind result, especially after last Saturday’s defeat against the Stars.
“We really switched on today considering we had the loss last week," Bannister said.
“We’re always known as a really strong, endurance-fit team.”
And upon reflection, the scoreless opening term didn’t seem too much of a concern for Strathmore.
“We knew that as the game went on, our running would come out on top.
“Sometimes we start a bit slower, but we know that in the end we’ll come home hard.”
Bannister’s side will take to the field for one last time in the regular season next weekend when it hosts Marby at Boeing Reserve.
Oak Park will look to bounce back against Essendon Doutta Stars at JP Fawkner Reserve.

MOONEE VALLEY 9.2 (56) def. KEILOR 6.4 (40)

Moonee Valley were 16-point winners over Keilor in a high-spirited, high-scoring affair at Ormond Park.
The Fog were entering this clash fresh off the bye, with a 17-point victory over the Lions their latest result.
Keilor were strong performers against Maribyrnong Park last weekend and had its eyes set on another impressive display.
And it truly was impressive from the Blues, with the visitors establishing leads at the first and third changeovers.
Moonee Valley surged ahead in the final quarter scoring 5.1 (31), with Keilor keeping some momentum high by scoring two of the last three goals of the match.
Named their best-on, Olivia Manfre led the Blues’ scoring with three accurate kicks at goal.
Ruby Gibson, Olivia Lacy, and Melda Temurci were an impactful trio with one goal each.
Moonee Valley remains a mathematical chance at finals, but it’s going to take two more wins and other results to go its way.
Matilda Zander was strong in Saturday's contest with three goals. Jayda Young trailed close behind with two.
The Fog was able to add some depth to its goalscoring display, with Rhiannon Busch, Michaela Chalhoub, Charlotte D’Ambrosio, and Nadia Valenti all kicking truly.
Meg Harrison was named one of Moonee Valley’s best.
The Fog will look for a win next weekend over at Shark Park against Hillside.
With its bye set for next weekend, Keilor will be on show for one last time in 2026, with a homecoming clash against Aberfeldie at Joe Brown Oval fixed for Round 16.

Craigieburn put pay to Taylors Lakes with ease to secure a 151-point victory at DS Aitken Reserve.
With three games remaining in the season, the win here sees the Eagles move three games clear in fourth position, with Tullamarine behind them in fifth spot.
While they sit in fourth, the Eagles only trail both West Coburg and Moonee Valley on percentage, with all three sides stuck at a deadlock of 12 wins each.
There were ominous signs for Taylors Lakes supporters early after the hosts skipped out to a 79-point lead at half time.
With a mountain of work to do in the second half, the Lions were simply outclassed by an exciting Craigieburn performance that should hold them in good stead come finals.
151 points was the final margin, and with the Eagles almost cracking the double ton, their ball movement and goal kicking is in strong form.
Twelve individual goal-kickers was the shining light of the Eagles afternoon, however Brodie White stole the spotlight with a sack of eight goals to his name.
Harry Albon was sensational again as he pushes his case for back-to-back Team of The Year selections, while Jamie Gorgievski slotted four goals of his own.
Craigieburn will travel to Overland Reserve next week for their clash with East Keilor, while Taylors Lakes will host Rupertswood.
OAK PARK 25.16 (166) def. EAST KEILOR 3.11 (29)

It was a demolition job at JP Fawkner Reserve with hosts Oak Park cruising to victory by 137 points over East Keilor.
With West Coburg tasting defeat, the win has seen Oak Park move into outright top position on the ladder and in perfect position to claim the minor premiership for a second year in a row.
The Roos' seven goals to one in the opening quarter spelled danger for East Keilor, which simply couldn’t match it with one of competition’s juggernauts.
An avalanche of inside 50s and shots on goal saw the Roos take a 74-point lead into half time, leaving the Cougars with plenty of work to do in the second half.
With no wins to show for the season, the Cougars once again suffered another overwhelming defeat, falling by 137 points by game's end.
Kane O’Halloran put in a monstrous shift for the Roos with a log of 11 goals, while captain Jedd Taylor led from the front once again.
Oak Park will travel to Ormond Park for their mouthwatering clash with Moonee Valley, meanwhile East Keilor will host Craigieburn.
TULLAMARINE 13.14 (92) def. AVONDALE HEIGHTS 2.7 (19)

Tullamarine secured a pivotal 73-point victory over Avondale Heights in a day for the history books at Leo Dineen Reserve.
All eyes were on Tullamarine’s star forward Josh Covelli as he successfully notched up one of the greatest achievements in the history of the EDFL, kicking his 1,000th career goal in brilliant fashion.
The crowd rushed the ground in an incredible stampede to celebrate with the star forward in his special moment.
In addition to Covelli’s remarkable milestone, his side also recorded a very important win for the finals aspirations.
Sitting in fifth position on the ladder, the win here sees the Dees put a three-game gap into the Heights who are back in sixth position.
With just the three games left for the season, Tullamarine would have to lose their last three games massively, and Avondale would have to win their final three games massively for their ladder positions to swap.
After a relatively competitive first half of footy which saw the Dees take a slender three goals lead into half time, they kicked clear in the second half with eight goals to nil.
In a superb defensive effort from the Dees, keeping the Heights goalless in the second half was one of the key takeaways from their game.
Zak Wunhym was one of Dees best after a stellar performance, while Josh Covelli capped off an extraordinary day with three goals to his name.
In what was a disappointing performance from the Heights, Matthew Hlisic toiled away in a good performance for his side.
Tullamarine will hit the road for their clash with St Albans next week, while it gets no easier for Avondale Heights which clashes with West Coburg.

RUPERTSWOOD 13.13 (91) def. by ST ALBANS 13.15 (93)

St Albans staved off a fast-finishing Rupertswood to snag a massive two-point victory away from home.
With both sides out of the finals race and facing only a few weeks left of their respective seasons, wins are all that matter at this point.
The Saints were the better starters in this bout but failed to capitalise on the scoreboard with just four goals from the 10 shots on goal.
Whereas on the other hand, Rupertswood was proving accurate in front of the sticks with four goals from five shots in the first quarter.
The two sides continued to battle it out in a hard-fought contest in which neither could generate any relief and breathing room.
After leading by three goals at three quarter time, the Saints survived one final charge from Rupertswood to claim victory at the death by a slender two points.
Youngster Hok Marial starred again with another three-goal haul, while Brodie Lyons-Jones also chipped in with a great performance.
In what was a heartbreaking loss for Rupertswood, Ethan Fitzpatrick and Aaron West were among their best for the afternoon.
St Albans will host Tullamarine next week, while Rupertswood will travel for their bout against Taylors Lakes.
WEST COBURG 12.13 (85) def. by MOONEE VALLEY 14.14 (98)
MATCH CENTRE
Moonee Valley has stamped themselves as a genuine premiership contender for 2026 after sensationally defeating West Coburg by 13 points on the road at Shore Reserve.
The Valley continue to go from strength to strength after turning the tables on West Coburg and continuing to push for a double chance in finals.
After falling to the Burgers by a single point last time they met, the Valley stunned the Burgers on the road with a robust final quarter effort.
The two sides could hardly be split for the entire game, and after sitting at a dead-even split at half-time, onlookers were in the box seat for a thriller.
Another blockbuster quarter saw the Burgers take a slim four-point lead into the final break in play, but it was the Valley who lifted when it mattered most.
The guests stormed home with four goals to two in the last quarter to capture one of the club’s best wins in recent times.
Mitch Clarke continued with his stellar season with another bag of four goals, to take his season tally to 48 and sit in third spot for the competition’s goalkicking.
Sebastian Moffett also starred in an excellent performance.
For the Burgers, Jalal Abou-Eid was among their best, as was Dinny Cleary.
Moonee Valley will look to claim another massive scalp when it hosts ladder-leaders Oak Park next week, while West Coburg will be seeking to bounce back against Avondale Heights.

Keilor Park defeated the Sunbury Lions at Keilor Park Recreation Reserve by 66 points.
It started in the first quarter, with the Devils adding 20 points to nothing.
The Devils continued to dominate the open play, with Kaitlin Bojarowski and Alana Vidov leading from the front.
Georgia O'Donovan also starred in the forward half kicking six goals. She now has 29 goals for the season, only missing the scoresheet once for the year.
The Sunbury Lions could only add to the scoresheet in the third term, with Tayla Wilson finally kicking a goal for the visitors.
Matilda Thomas and Helen Hutchins tried hard in the back half, but could not stem the bleeding.
Keilor Park will face Craigieburn this week at DS Aitken Reserve in a finals preview.
The Lions will take on Roxburgh Park at Lakeside Reserve.
TAYLORS LAKES 0.5 (5) def. by EAST SUNBURY 9.10 (64)

East Sunbury recorded a 59-point victory over Taylors Lakes at Lionheart Reserve.
After a nine-point defeat to Coburg Districts the previous week, the Thunder responded with a comprehensive victory.
They had five different goalkickers for the match, with Rhianna Kirk and Jacinta Lee leading the way with three majors each.
Around the ground it was the familiar faces of Jacinta Lee, Charrouf Habib, and Mariam Habib who provided run and spread in the midfield.
Both Charrouf and Mariam have continually been named among the best players, featuring more than seven times each.
The luckless Lions continue to struggle with numbers but fought valiantly.
Sarah Sullivan and Gabrielle Kassinidis both tried hard for the winless Lions, but the Thunder proved too strong.
Taylors Lakes will take on Coburg Districts next week at Cole Reserve, while East Sunbury will face Sunbury Kangaroos at John McMahon Reserve.

SUNBURY KANGAROOS 4.1 (25) def. by TULLAMARINE 4.9 (33)
MATCH CENTRE
Tullamarine defeated the Sunbury Kangaroos in a close clash at Eric Boardman Reserve.
The Demons have continued their recent good form, with this win helping to make it a three game win streak for the Demons.
The game remained relatively even at half time, with just a four-point advantage for the visitors.
However, in the third quarter, the Kangaroos jumped ahead to grab a nine-point lead with everything to play for in the final term.
The final term saw Tullamarine reclaim the lead, kicking two goals and five behinds to snatch victory.
The goalkickers for the Demons included Anais Lipski, Summa Blackburn, Tricia Devine, and Marriane Shiba.
Captain Charlotte Jackson again led the way being named in the bests, featuring 10 times for the year.
For the hosts, it was Lisa Kirby and Tylah Bell who dominated around the ball with on-field brilliance.
Sunbury Kangaroos will take on East Sunbury at John McMahon Recreation Reserve to finish the season, and Tullamarine will face Gisborne at Gardiner Reserve.

In a massive upset at Highgate Recreation Reserve, Coburg Districts stole victory away to secure a one-point victory over Craigieburn.
Both teams only kicked behinds for the match until the third quarter, with Eagles captain Sienna Scuderi kicking the first goal of the game.
Coburg Districts quickly responded with a goal of its own.
The third quarter ended with the Eagles leading the way by two points.
The fourth quarter demonstrated the value of kicking accurately, with the Eagles adding another four behinds.
The Lions however, made the most of their opportunities, kicking a goal and a behind to steal victory.
For the victors, it was Karli Kulbars and Katherine Jansen who kicked the only majors of the match.
For the Eagles, they will rue their inaccuracy in front of goal, kicking 1.10 for the match.
The best players for the Eagles included Maddison Albrecht and Teegan Natoli who both provided run and dare.
Albrecht has been part of the best named players in nearly every match and will hope to continue her fine form in the finals.
For the victors, it was the familiar names of Bridgette Aparo and Sarah Docherty who dominated play and displayed excellent on-field leadership.
Craigiburn will now take on Keilor Park at DS Aitken Reserve in a top-four clash, while Coburg Districts will face the winless Taylors Lakes at Cole Reserve.
WESTMEADOWS 8.10 (58) def. GISBORNE 1.2 (8)

The ladder leaders Westmeadows cruised to a 50-point victory over Gisborne at Willowbrook Reserve.
The usual names for Westmeadows Ella Guest, Gemma Wright, and Jacinta Scott proved dangerous in the forward half.
Guest added three majors, with Wright and Scott both adding the two each. Wright has now kicked 20 goals for the season.
Around the ground, it was Madison Shaw-Barton who led the way for the hosts and she was well supported by Gemma Wright.
The loss pushes Gisborne down to sixth on the ladder, as Amy O’Kelly continued her fine form for the season, being named among the best in every game she's played.
Gisborne will take on Tullamarine in the final match of the season at Gardiner Reserve, while Westmeadows will face Burnside Heights in a finals preview.

Hadfield has outclassed a wayward Burnside Heights by 43 points at Burnside Heights Recreation Reserve.
A game that was summed up by taking your chances cost the Bears with the half time scores reading 8.3 (51) for the Hawks and 2.9 (21) for the Bears.
It set the Bears back and the second half followed a similar trend where Burnside continued to miss chances while the Hawks took theirs.
Ethan Dalla Rosa and Matthew Meocevic were regarded as the best on ground for the Bears.
For the Hawks, Harry O’Kelly and Zac Polizzi were highly influential in the win.
Burnside Heights is set to face Keilor Park in an evenly matched battle at Keilor Park Recreation Reserve.
Hadfield will take on the last placed Northern Saints at Martin Reserve.
GLENROY 13.15 (93) def. SUNBURY KANGAROOS 14.3 (87)
MATCH CENTRE
Glenroy has hung on to victory in a six-point nailbiter against Sunbury Kangaroos at Sewell Reserve.
The win locks the Roys into second spot, while the Kangaroos sit one game out of the top four.
It was a close contest all day, as the Kangaroos got out to a 16-point lead early in the last quarter to take a game-high lead.
Glenroy answered back with two quick goals to get back to within three points.
The Kangaroos got out by seven points into time on, before the final two goals of the game going Glenroy's way proved decisive.
Aaron Kite starred with six goals and was pivotal in the win alongside Nick Maric and Zane Terranova.
Ryan Pretty was the only multiple goalscorer for the Kangaroos with two majors, however they found plenty of avenues to goal with 12 other individual goal scorers.
Tie Cuffe and Jakeb Coles were named the best for the blue and white.
Glenroy will next host Roxburgh Park, while the Kangaroos will host Coburg Districts.

A powerful third term led Coburg Districts to a 39-point victory in a shootout against East Sunbury at Cole Reserve.
In a game that had 37 goals kicked in it, Districts found their firepower in front of goal and overwhelmed the Thunder across Saturday afternoon.
A last quarter fightback from the Thunder which saw eight goals from the visitors put some respectability on the scoreboard.
It was the usual suspects for the Lions in Riley Bentley and Curtis Rawlings (four goals) who both had big afternoons, while Jack McNamara led the scoring with five goals.
Robbie Gray kicked two goals in a best-on-ground performance, while Lachlan Henson (four goals) and Joel Bonnici (two goals) were strong.
Coburg Districts is set to travel to face Sunbury Kangaroos in its next outing at Eric Boardman Reserve, while East Sunbury will host Westmeadows.
WESTMEADOWS 25.18 (168) def. NORTHERN SAINTS 11.7 (73)

Westmeadows was dominant in a thumping 95-point win over Northern Saints at Willowbrook Reserve.
The Tigers now sit one game and percentage clear inside the top four, while the Saints are last on percentage.
Westmeadows led by 47 points at the main break and kicked 15 goals to eight from that point to blow the margin out.
Shaun O'Grady and Ryan Stingel shared the attacking duties with seven goals each, while Adrian Alfonsi enjoyed another day out against the Saints with five goals.
Those three were among the best with Nick Mathewes and Jordan Kosteas also very strong.
Nick Bruno kicked four goals for the Saints, while Mohamed Taleb and Ezzat Haddara were named their best.
Westy will next play East Sunbury at John McMahon Recreation Reserve, while the Saints will head to Martin Reserve to play Hadfield.
ROXBURGH PARK 17.12 (114) def. KEILOR PARK 7.8 (50)
MATCH CENTRE
Roxburgh Park has smashed Keilor Park in a clinical performance at Lakeside Reserve.
The Magpies held the Devils to only the solitary goal in the opening half and then went on to kick 12 of their own in a second-half domination.
Roxy were much better in front of goal compared to their last outing against the Devils where they kicked 7.21 (63) and scraped over the line away from home in Round 6.
Amos Potter and Eyad Hegazy both nailed four goals each in the win for Roxy, while Andrew Capuana was named their best.
Devils Captain Joshua Bistisi-Nguyen along with Callum Brown both had strong performances for the visitors.
Roxburgh Park will travel to Sewell Reserve to face Glenroy in a huge game next weekend.
Keilor Park will host Burnside Heights in a bid to try and break its losing streak at Keilor Park Recreation Reserve.
