Aberfeldie has climbed back inside the top five after defeating Hillside by 55 points at Clifton Park.
Saturday’s win is Aberfeldie's eighth victory for the year and now has the side sitting in fourth spot with three rounds left to play.
Hillside couldn’t back up its heroics from Round 6 and now means its season is all but over with the side two games clear of ninth and seventh.
Abers made its intentions clear from the start with the home side piling on seven goals to open up a 32-point quarter time lead.
Hillside clawed its way back in the second quarter with three goals to one which cut Aberfeldie's lead to just 17 points at the main break.
The Sharks couldn’t get much closer with Abers booting four goals in the third and fourth quarter which proved to be enough to seal a comfortable victory.
Coach Leigh Tudor lauded his side’s midfield dominance and thought the team defence was the best it has been all year which was helped by the immense pressure put on the opposition.
Jackson Barber was instrumental in the victory booting four goals, while Matt Williamson and Ben Parker were very good again.
Nick Fluke continues to go from strength to strength and put in another impressive performance for Hillside, while Noah Asciak and Fort Caruso fought hard all day.
Abers will now gear up for a season-defining clash with Douttas at Clifton Park, while Hillside will host Strathmore.
KEILOR 16.14 (110) def. GREENVALE 9.7 (61)
MATCH CENTRE
Keilor has made it 11 wins in a row after defeating Greenvale by 49 points at Joe Brown Oval.
The win maintains the longest winning streak in the Premier Division competition this season and keeps the pressure on ladder leaders Strathmore which remains one game ahead of the Blues.
Greenvale has still only notched up the two wins for the season, however it still sits in ninth spot.
The Blues made the perfect start kicking eight goals in the first quarter and opened up a 40-point quarter time lead.
Greenvale hit back with four of its own in the second term and cut Keilor’s lead to just 27 points, before an even third term meant Keilor’s lead was 35 points at the final change.
The Blues put to bed any hopes of a spirited final quarter Greenvale comeback, with a five-goal quarter sealing another strong win.
Coach Mick McGuane was happy with the result especially the way his side started and finished the game against a very competitive Greenvale outfit.
Cody Brand and Chris Kosmas did the damage on the scoreboard again with three goals each, while Nick O’Kearney was terrific in the middle.
Greenvale's James Manfre and Ben Speight had a good day in front of goal with two majors each, while Riley Leedham continued his strong season.
Keilor will now travel to Monk Oval to meet with Marby, while Greenvale will take on Airport West in a season-shaping clash for both clubs at Hansen Reserve.
DEER PARK 13.15 (93) def. ESSENDON DOUTTA STARS 8.15 (63)
MATCH CENTRE
Deer Park has added moe intrigue to the finals race after defeating Essendon Doutta Stars by 30 points at John McLeod Reserve.
The win means Douttas have slipped to fifth spot and are still level with Abers and Marby on points with three weeks to play.
Deer Park’s faint finals hopes are still alive, however the Lions remain a game and percentage outside of the top five with only three weeks left to play.
The Lions got off to the perfect start booting five goals in the opening term and went into the first change with a 29-point lead.
Another five goals in the second term extended their lead, however Douttas managed three majors for the term which helped stem the bleeding.
The contest reached arm wrestle territory in the third term with each side booting one goal, however the margin remained at 48 points.
The deficit proved to be too much to overcome, with four goals to the visitors in the final term cutting the margin to 30 points at the final siren.
Coach Jamie Madigan said, “Overall it was a great team effort with Anthony Anastasio continuing his great form, Kwame McHarg and Billy Cannolo gaining many possessions, while Trent McKenzie was again outstanding in defence.”
Despite going down, Michael Kiraly was excellent on return collecting 28 disposals and three goals, while Ben Thomson and Mitchell Kalpakis fought hard all day.
Douttas will now prepare for a season-defining clash with Aberfeldie at Clifton Park, while Deerk Park will host Pascoe Vale.
STRATHMORE 24.14 (158) def. AIRPORT WEST 5.9 (39)
MATCH CENTRE
Strathmore has edged one step closer to the minor premiership, defeating Airport West by 119 points at Lebanon Reserve.
The win maintains the Mores' one-game buffer on Keilor and means the side is just two wins away from sitting out the first week of the finals.
It isn’t getting any easier for Airport West which is still sitting in last spot.
The home side opened up an early lead with four goals in the first quarter before extending their advantage to 35 points in the second quarter.
The reigning premiers put the foot down in the third quarter booting seven majors for the term, before finishing strongly with another eight goals to help seal a comprehensive victory.
Coach Matthew Horne said it was a complete performance and good to have a few different players available and put a team away.
Alex Tonelli moved closer to the top of the leading goal kickers tally with another seven goals, while Matthew Allison was just as good with six majors.
Strathmore will be hoping for more of the same with it takes on Hillside at Shark Park, while Airport West will be looking to save its season when it hosts Greenvale.
PASCOE VALE 19.18 (132) def. MARIBYRNONG PARK 9.12 (66)
MATCH CENTRE
Pascoe Vale has moved closer to locking away a top-three finish after defeating Maribyrnong Park by 66 points at Raeburn Reserve.
The win means the Panthers are two games and percentage clear of fourth with three games to play, a double chance the likely result.
Meanwhile Marby failed another test against a high-quality outfit and leaves Brodie Holland's men sitting in sixth with a tricky final three weeks.
The damage was done in the first quarter with six goals handing the Panthers a 31-point lead at the first change.
Another four goals in the second term meant Marby couldn’t get any closer, however it could’ve been very different had the Lions not kicked 3.6 for the term.
A five-goal third term for Pascoe Vale all but put the result beyond doubt before four goals in the last quarter sealed another emphatic victory for the home side.
Charlie Bolmat was excellent taking home the Doutta Galla Hotel player of the match, while Dante Colosimo and Carled El Khodr both put in strong performances with four goals each.
Brandon Ryan did everything he could in front of goal with three majors while Rook Barry and Ned Ryan fought hard all day.
Pascoe Vale will now travel to John McLeod Reserve to meet with Deer Park, while Marby will face another test when it squares off with Keilor at Monk Oval.

STRATHMORE 10.9 (69) def. MARIBYRNONG PARK 3.5 (23)

Strathmore was comfortable 46-point winners over Maribyrnong Park at Boeing Reserve.
After Sarah McKinnon opened the game strongly with two goals inside the first five minutes, Maribyrnong Park responded through Camryn Liddle and Tegan Matthews to tie the scores up 2.2 (14) at the break.
It would then be a case of sheer dominance for the Mores, with the ladder-leaders scoring the next eight of nine goals.
A very quick and efficient side, Strathmore concluded its home and away season on top of the table (bye in final round) with an 11-3 record and 178 per cent.
McKinnon finished with three goals during Saturday's contest. Milla Murphy found two, while it was singles from Jasmina Curtis, Maeve Langston, Talia Motta, Kellie Radecki, and Tacita Siliato.
Motta was named Strathmore’s best alongside Murphy, McKinnon, and Eloise Egglestone.
Lucy Bray and Ava Steel were handy for Marby, with the Lions’ third goal of the afternoon coming through Matthews (two goals).
The Lions will look ahead to their final hit out of the season, with Walsh Oval set to host their battle against Caroline Springs.
With a bye set for next weekend, attention turns to the finals series for Strathmore, with next Saturday's batch of results set to determine its finishing position on the ladder.
CAROLINE SPRINGS 5.3 (33) def. by ABERFELDIE 9.4 (58)
MATCH CENTRE
Aberfeldie moved to one win away from the minor premiership after it took control of Caroline Springs by 25 points on the road.
After the Two Blues shrugged off the Lakers by 82 points back in Round 8, Aberfeldie was looking to do it all over again, while Caroline Springs was hoping to hit back and snap a three-game losing streak.
It was an ruthless display from Aberfeldie in the opening term, with the visitors establishing a 5.1 (31) to nil lead at the change.
The Lakers would then return the favour by scoring an unchallenged 4.3 (27) to bring the contest back to four points at the major break.
Both sides would then hit the scoreboard in the third term, with the Two Blues extending their grip by 12 points at the final change, with a similar feat carried out in the final 20 minutes allowing Aberfeldie to sing the song.
Named as one of the best, Chloe Rafferty was top of the scoresheet with three goals for Aberfeldie.
Mo Hope and Erica Markesich found two, while Ash Gunn and Em Smith booted one apiece.
Olivia Madden earnt her ninth best-on naming for the season.
Jacinta Kondis led the Lakers’ scoring with two, while Charlotte Gerada, Taya Meiers, and Brodie Stevens slotted one each.
Caitlyn Volpe and Kyla Tracey were awarded best-on honours for Caroline Springs.
Caroline Springs will have one last chance to secure a top-four spot against Maribyrnong Park at Walsh Oval on Saturday.
A win over Keilor would see Aberfeldie finish the home and away season as minor premiers next weekend at Joe Brown Oval.
HILLSIDE 4.5 (29) def. MOONEE VALLEY 1.4 (10)
MATCH CENTRE
Over at Shark Park, Hillside picked up its third win of the season by 19 points against Moonee Valley.
It marks revenge for the Sharks, who went down by 26 points when the two sides last met in Round 8.
Nothing could separate the Sharks and Fog at the first two breaks, with a 0.2 (2) and 1.3 (9) equilibrium at quarter time and half time respectively.
But the second half would see a new brand of Hillside footy on show, with the Sharks putting on 3.2 (20) to 0.1 (1).
Hannah Ibrahim, Brooke Kerrigan, Annalise and Ebony Wilkie all found one goal and were named as some of the Sharks’ best on ground.
Eve Zabarauskas was the lone goal scorer for Moonee Valley, with Teà Walsh, Sienna Colgan, and Jayda Young named the Fog’s best.
Both sides will close out their seasons next weekend, with Hillside hitting the road for a clash with Essendon Doutta Stars, and Moonee Valley returning to Ormond Park to host Oak Park.
OAK PARK 4.5 (29) def. ESSENDON DOUTTA STARS 2.6 (18)

Oak Park bounced back from last weekend’s loss in style, taking control of Essendon Doutta Stars by 11 points at JP Fawkner Reserve.
The victory sees the Kangaroos hold third spot on the ladder with a 10-3 record, but a percentage difference of 48 holds them away from the Two Blues’ rung of second.
Most of the Roos’ scoring took place in the opening 20 minutes, with Oak Park establishing a 3.1 (19) to nil lead at the first change.
Essendon Doutta Stars found its mojo when play resumed, but it wasn’t enough to see the side get ahead on the scoreboard.
It was individual goalkickers across the board for both sides, with Manaia Huta and Stephanie Mitchell accurate kicks in front of goal for the Stars.
These two were named as some of the side’s best alongside Ella Tyson.
Emily Findlay, Tayah Kelly, Tamsyn Kirk, and Felicity Theodore were the goal kickers for the Roos, with Amy Warden declared their best on ground.
Oak Park remains in contention to conclude the home and away season on top of the ladder when it meets Moonee Valley at Ormond Park on Saturday.
The Stars will look to lock in fourth spot with Hillside set to meet them at Nipper Jordan Oval.

ST ALBANS 8.7 (55) def. by TULLAMARINE 21.12 (138)
MATCH CENTRE
Tullamarine steadied after a lacklustre opening quarter to storm away from St Albans in a dominant 83-point victory and book a well-deserved finals position.
St Albans looked the more composed side to open the match, with the Saints brilliantly turning defence into attack with nine scoring shots in the opening quarter.
However, they couldn’t cash in on all their good work, kicking themselves in the foot with only four goals from their nine shots on goal.
On the other end of the scale, the Dees, who were completely outplayed in the opening quarter, kept in touch with the Saints after making the most of their chances with three majors from as many shots on goal.
The momentum shifted with extreme magnitude after quarter time however, and the Dees piled on 18 goals to the Saints' four in a stunning display of football.
Tom Jackson and Salvatore Melilli starred with four goals each to their name, while Jake Long was instrumental around the ground.
With only two rounds remaining in season 2026, the Dees will be thrilled to have locked away a finals position.
On the other hand, it’s a disappointing result for St Albans after looking brilliant early on in the contest.
Patrick Brookes toiled away well in an excellent contribution for his side.
The Demons will look to keep building momentum when they host Rupertswood next week, while St Albans will host Craigieburn.
TAYLORS LAKES 16.18 (114) def. RUPERTSWOOD 14.13 (97)

Taylors Lakes held off a fast-finishing Rupertswood to cling onto victory by 17 points.
It’s a pleasing result for the Lions who have struggled desperately with consistency in 2026 after just missing out on finals action last year.
They started like a house on fire with seven opening quarter majors to take a 42-point lead into the first break in play.
The guests chipped into the deficit well in the second quarter to cut the margin back to four goals at half time.
The game looked all but over at three quarter after the Lions bounded away again in the third term with another dominant display.
Despite trailing by 57 points at three quarter time, Rupo cut into the margin tremdously in the final quarter to peg the margin all the way back to just 17 points at the final siren.
From a Lions standpoint, four points is points, but final quarter collapses like this have somewhat summed up their season to date.
They’ve been in games on many occasions throughout the year, but have folded in final quarters in what’s become a concerning pattern.
Damien Petrone was excellent on return with a bag of six goals, while Lachlan Rayner again pushed his case for Team of The Year ruck honours with another dominant display.
Taylors Lakes will hit the road next week for its clash with Oak Park, while Rupertswood takes on Tullamarine.
MOONEE VALLEY 19.12 (126) def. OAK PARK 18.15 (123)
MATCH CENTRE
Moonee Valley sensationally claimed another massive scalp in defeating Oak Park again for the second time this season.
In one of the most stunning finishes to a game in recent memory, hero Lachlan Grant ascended as the match-winner with a ridiculous over the shoulder goal from the pocket to steal victory in the dying seconds.
An incredible finish to a thrilling top-of-the-table clash, the Valley now sit in equal first position on the ladder on points and only reside in third on percentage.
Onlookers wouldn’t have been disappointed with this one as it quickly developed into a see-sawing affair.
The Valley took the early hold with an early break of three goals at quarter time, before Oak Park responded with a seven-goal-to-one second term to take a four-goal lead into half time.
However, the hosts bit back hard to cut the deficit back down to an exciting five-point game at three quarter time.
In what developed into a classic final quarter, the Roos slotted four out of the first five goals to start the quarter, before the Valley resurgence began with five out of the last six to close the game.
With the aid of a freakish match-winning effort from Grant, the Valley has well and truly confirmed their premiership credentials.
Haidyn Shade and Callum Clinnick produced sizzling performances to fuel their side’s victory and send the Roos home in devastating fashion.
Oak Park had an array of stand-out performers themselves, with both Adam Del Busso and Liam Molloy snagging four goals each for the afternoon.
Moonee Valley will travel up Maribyrnong Road and down to Canning Reserve for their clash with Avondale Heights next week, while Oak Park will need to bounce back against Taylors Lakes.

Craigieburn flexed its muscles in a big way with a thumping 122-point win over East Keilor at Overland Reserve.
The win leaves the Eagles lying in equal top of the ladder on points, but in fourth on percentage.
With an end of season clash against West Coburg approaching in the final round of the year, the Eagles must take care of business against St Albans next week if they are to remain alive in the double chance race.
On the other end of the scales, East Keilor remain winless on the bottom of the Division One ladder.
With relegation a certainty, Cougars fans will be desperate for some hope in the final two rounds.
Mitch Parton kicked three for the Cougars in the only positive from the day.
Craigieburn will remain on the road again for its clash with St Albans next week, while East Keilor is set for a date with West Coburg.
WEST COBURG 19.18 (132) def. AVONDALE HEIGHTS 5.8 (38)
MATCH CENTRE
West Coburg returned to the winner’s enclosure in a big way with a convincing 94-point win over Avondale Heights.
The Burgers produced a devastating opening term of football with 18 scoring shots to the Heights' two, to take a 51-point lead into quarter time.
The Heights levelled the game out relatively in the second term, but the second half was much of the same as the opening quarter.
Another onslaught of eight goals to two ensured this bout was a genuine percentage booster for West Coburg, which sits atop of the ladder, but only on percentage.
Omar Saad was among the best for the Burgers, as was Damian Galofaro who slotted through four goals.
West Coburg takes on East Keilor next week while Avondale Heights faces off against Moonee Valley.

WESTMEADOWS 10.7 (67) def. BURNSIDE HEIGHTS 2.5 (17)
MATCH CENTRE
Round 14 began with Westmeadows defeating Burnside Heights at Willowbrook Reserve by 50 points.
It began in the first quarter with Westmeadows kicking 21 points, with two goals to Gemma Wright and a single major to Danielle Linton.
Burnside responded in the second quarter, kicking two goals and four behinds to reduce the margin to four points.
However the Tigers returned serve in the third term, kicking away to a 33-point lead.
Courteney Munn and Taylor Jones both added a pair of goals, with Stefanie Maiorana adding to the scoreboard as well.
The Bears failed to add to the scoreboard after the first term, with the Tigers winning comfortably in the end.
It was the hard work of Madison Shaw-Barton and Ella Guest who continued their excellent form of the season.
These two teams will have a rematch next week at Lionheart Reserve for the chance to book a spot in the grand final.
GISBORNE 1.4 (10) def. by TULLAMARINE 6.0 (36)
MATCH CENTRE
Gisborne played against Tullamarine at Gardiner Reserve, with the Demons defeating the Bulldogs by 26 points.
The Demons came into this game off a four-game win streak and their hot form continued.
Summa Blackburn and Kayla Peake starred in the forward 50 kicking three goals each.
Around the ground, it was captain Charlotte Jackson who continued to lead from the front.
She was joined by Hannah Birdo, who provided run and dare.
For the opposition, Gisborne finish the season in sixth position.
Kirsty Baker tried hard, but struggled to capitalise on their scoreboard opportunities, the four behinds compared to the straight kicking of Tullamarine proved costly.
Both teams will miss out on finals, but the Demons will be content with how they finished the season.
COBURG DISTRICTS 4.7 (31) def. TAYLORS LAKES 3.2 (20)
MATCH CENTRE
Coburg Districts took on last placed Taylors Lakes at Cole Reserve with Districts winning by 11 points.
Coburg Districts immediately took control of the game with a goal to Chiara Chiavaroli alongside four behinds.
Taylors Lakes responded in the second term, by adding 13 points with goals to Charlie Goodwin and Rebecca Foggie.
However it was all Coburg Districts in the third term, with Sarah Docherty adding two majors and Bridgette Aparo contributing to the scoreboard.
Around the ground, it was captain Aparo who proved dangerous in the forward half.
She has been named among the best players in 13 games of the season.
For the opposition, Rebecca Foggie led the way around the contest with Courtney McCormack also among the best.
Taylors Lakes end the season without a win in a tough campaign, with Coburg Districts narrowly missing out on finals, finishing in fifth.
ROXBURGH PARK 9.14 (68) def. SUNBURY LIONS 1.2 (8)
MATCH CENTRE
Roxburgh Park dominated the Sunbury Lions by 60 points at Lakeside Reserve.
It was a clash of eighth against ninth, with the Magpies jumping out of the blocks in the first term to gain a 31-point lead.
Haylea Cooke added three majors with Sophie Pettman kicking a single major.
The Sunbury Lions responded with a single goal in the second term, but the onslaught continued in the third quarter with the Magpies adding another 20 points.
Cooke dominated the game with four majors, ending the season with 14 goals.
She was well supported by Pettman in the forward 50 and has been named among the best seven times for the season.
For the Sunbury Lions, they struggled to get the ball forward from the midfield.
Mia Bergamasco and Jordyn Elizabeth Bradie-Miles continued their excellent form for the season, yet could not stop the clearance dominance of the Magpies.
Both teams were unable to make finals, finishing in the bottom third of the ladder.
EAST SUNBURY 2.9 (21) def. SUNBURY KANGAROOS 1.8 (14)
MATCH CENTRE
In a hotly contested affair at John McMahon Recreation Reserve, East Sunbury defeated the Sunbury Kangaroos by seven points.
Both teams proved inaccurate in front of goals, kicking nine and eight behinds each. The Kangaroos will rue the missed opportunities.
The familiar names for East Sunbury of Mariam Habib, Charrouf Habib, and Molly Connell continued their good form for the season.
Mariam and Charrouf in particular have been industrious throughout the season for East Sunbury.
For the Sunbury Kangaroos, it was Tylah Bell and Lisa Kirby who were solid contributors. Both players have been named among the best for nearly every game of the season.
Neither team will play finals, but East Sunbury will be proud of how they finished the season.
CRAIGIEBURN 7.5 (47) def. KEILOR PARK 1.3 (9)
MATCH CENTRE
To finish off the round, Craigieburn comfortably defeated Keilor Park by 38 points at DS Aitken Reserve.
Craigieburn entered this game winning their last seven out of eight games.
The Eagles steadily kicked away from Keilor Park with Jemayne Lansdell kicking four goals. Harmony Tavita and Maddison Albrecht also added single majors.
Keilor Park struggled to hit the scoreboard, kicking their only goal for the match in the third term.
Among the best for the Eagles included Mietta Datson, Albrecht, and Lansdell. All three players will be pivotal to the finals chances of the Eagles.
It is worth noting that Keilor Park only had 16 players, with no rotation on the bench.
For Keilor Park, both Talisa Bartolo and Antonietta Parisi provided fight in the midfield, but struggled to wrestle the dominance of the Eagles midfield brigade.
Keilor Park will hope to respond next week as they have a rematch in an elimination final at Martin Reserve.

HADFIELD 25.14 (164) def. NORTHERN SAINTS 10.10 (70)
MATCH CENTRE
Hadfield has dominated the Northern Saints in a 94-point win at Martin Reserve.
The Hawks were challenged early in the match by the Saints but a second quarter smashing saw the Hawks pile on nine goals and put the game out of reach by half time for the visitors.
The second half followed similar suit with the Hawks being too good and powering themselves to a 25-goal performance in a huge win in their bid to lock up a top-four position at season’s end.
Joshua Trembearth and Dawoud Said both nailed five goals and were big players in the 25-goal performance by the Hawks.
Despite the defeat, Nick Bruno had another strong performance kicking four goals and was a standout on another disappointing afternoon for the Saints.
Hadfield is now set to face the Sunbury Kangaroos at Eric Boardman Reserve, while the Northern Saints will host Burnside Heights at Charles Mutton Reserve.
SUNBURY KANGAROOS 11.9 (75) def. by COBURG DISTRICTS 19.10 (124)
MATCH CENTRE
Coburg Districts locked up the minor premiership with a 49-point win over Sunbury Kangaroos at Eric Boardman Reserve.
The Lions started strong and never looked back to record the comfortable victory.
Curtis Rawlings extended his lead at the top of the goal kicking tally with a bag of eight goals making it 58 for the season.
Pasquale Curcio added three goals with Riley Bentley (two goals) and Darcy Reid among the best.
Rhys Magin and Ryan Pretty tried hard up forward for the Kangaroos with four goals each, while Jackson Treweek and Tyler Baba fought hard.
The Lions will look to continue on against Westmeadows next week at Cole Reserve, while the Kangaroos have a must-win clash against Hadfield.
GLENROY 6.15 (51) def. by ROXBURGH PARK 7.10 (52)
MATCH CENTRE
Roxburgh Park has scraped over the line in a one-point classic against Glenroy at Sewell Reserve.
After a scrappy first term, the Magpies opened the game up and had a dominant second term to edge the gap to three goals at half time.
Glenroy’s powerful third term was not enough with the Magpies getting home by the barest on margins in a great game of football.
Captain Dylan Exposto and Ethan Derrick were regarded as the best for the Magpies.
Three goals coming from Mark Sabatino almost proved to be the difference for a heartbroken Glenroy outfit.
The Roys will next play Keilor Park at Keilor Park Recreation Reserve, while Roxy will travel to John McMahon Recreation Reserve to face East Sunbury.

Burnside Heights won an enthralling seven-point contest against Keilor Park on the road.
The margin at each change didn't exceed six points with both sides trading blows all the way throughout.
A Jai Bahnert goal early in the last recaptured the lead for the Devils, but three Bears goals across the next 18 minutes was enough to seal the victory.
Nick Cugliari continued his fine form in front of goal with four majors, while Cade Anset and Nick Schiemer added two each.
Riley Anset impressed on debut, with Anthony Petrarca and Toby Pullens strong as well.

A wayward performance by Westmeadows proves to have cost them the four points over East Sunbury which got the job done by 20 points at John McMahon Recreation Reserve.
The Thunder had a monster six-goal opening term and left the Tigers in their dust at the first change.
There was a second quarter fightback from the Tigers where they held the Thunder scoreless throughout the entire term.
But another third quarter surge from the Thunder put the lead out to 25 points at the final change, going on to get the job done in the final term by 20 points.
Four goals from Wade Lees was the standout on Saturday afternoon for the Thunder.
Jordan Hollow and Jake Horton were the best on ground for the Tigers.
