STRATHMORE Community Bank Premier Division joins the party as the 2017 EDFL Finals Series continues this weekend.
On Saturday, powerhouses Greenvale & Aberfeldie square off at Windy Hill for a spot in the Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division Grand Final, while both Maribyrnong Park and Strathmore make their finals returns in an Elimination Final at Windy Hill on Sunday.
The finals kicked off with a bang over the weekend as six clubs made their return to the post-season.
On Saturday Glenroy ran rampant over Hillside at Windy Hill to advance to the Essendon Ford Division 1 Grand Final (full match replay here).
Meanwhile at Coburg City Oval, Coburg Districts made history by advancing to the Strathmore Community Bank Division 2 Grand Final with a win over Jacana (full match replay here).
Then on Elimination Sunday we had two thrilling knock-out finals.
At Windy Hill, Airport West came back from 10 points down at three-quarter time to defeat Tullamarine and advance to the Essendon Ford Division 1 Preliminary Final against Hillside (full match replay here).
Over at Hadfield's Martin Reserve, the Northern Saints were too classy for Moonee Valley to set up a Prelim Final date with Jacana (full match replay here).
