WITH all junior competitions wrapping up over the weekend, it’s now the men’s turn to have a crack at finals footy across the EDFL.
Six of the eight senior teams are back in the finals after missing out in recent years.
Of the eight, only Tullamarine and Moonee Valley were senior finalists in 2016.
Finals for Divisions 1 and 2 kick off this Saturday with some huge games taking place over both days.
On Saturday, Windy Hill will host Glenroy and Hillside, who will battle it out for a spot in the Essendon Ford Division 1 Grand Final, while over at Coburg City Oval, Coburg Districts will take on Jacana for a place in the Strathmore Community Bank Division 2 decider.
Then on Elimination Sunday, seasons are on the line as Tullamarine takes on Airport West (Essendon Ford Division 1) at Windy Hill, while over at Hadfield’s Martin Reserve, it’ll be the Northern Saints and Moonee Valley (Strathmore Community Bank Division 2) going at it.
On Friday night, Greenvale will take on Aberfeldie in the Senior Thirds Grand Final at Keilor.
