THE EDFL this week has bid farewell to Football Operations Manager, Stuart Balloch.
Stuart, who came on board with the EDFL at the start of the 2016 season, has accepted a new role with Victorian Football League club, Werribee – who this year will end its alignment with North Melbourne and become a standalone club.
League CEO Marc Turri thanked Stuart for his contribution to the EDFL.
“Stuart integrated himself seamlessly into the EDFL community with his positive demeaner,” Mr Turri said.
“He had a positive influence on the EDFL in his time with the organisation, with many his recommendations incorporated into the EDFL’s processes.
“He came in at a time of change in Community Football with the introduction of the Salary Cap and took on this change with enthusiasm.
“On behalf of the EDFL Board and the wider EDFL community, I thank Stuart for his contribution to our League.”
The EDFL community wishes Stu all the best with the Werribee Tigers and his future endeavours.
