RYAN ‘Friesy’ Micallef has been playing regular senior football for the past two seasons, even though he is still qualified as an Under 19.5 player.
He played in our Strathmore Community Bank Division 2 Grand Final team last year and acquitted himself well.
Friesy is a popular figure around the club and always there for his team mates.
He can play a variety of roles and is at home on a wing, as he is playing a high half forward role or can even go behind the ball if required.
Ryan is a star of the future and another player the Roxburgh Park Football Club can build around into the future.

*Rising Star Criteria: An AGA Apprenticeships Plus Rising Star nominee must be aged between 16-21 and have played at least one senior game in Season 2017. An overall AGA Apprenticeships Plus Rising Star winner will be announced at the EDFL’s Senior Awards Night.
