2025 Strathmore Community Bank Division One Team of the Year

Full 22 Revealed!

The EDFL is proud to announce the 2025 Strathmore Community Bank Division One Team of the Year, as selected by the coaches!

The team is unsurprisingly dominated by the seven teams that were in finals contention until the final round, with Oak Park's Jedd Taylor and Todd Clark selected as the respective captain and coach.

That makes it back-to-back selections for Clark, who was nominated by every single other coach in the division.

Taylor will start on ball with Jackson Robb (Avondale Heights) and Chris Vulic (Taylors Lakes) who each enjoyed incredible seasons after moving into the division in 2025.

Lions teammate Lachlan Rayner will be the starting ruck, just edging out Roxburgh Park's Jack Elliott who will start on the bench.

West Coburg pair Ruairi Cleary and Dane Lucas will start on the full back line alongside Hillside's Lachlan Pettigrove.

Bailey Williamson (Avondale Heights) and Jai Robinson (Craigieburn) will slot in on the half back flanks, with St Albans' Brandon Coletta retaining his spot at centre half back.

Hayden Polley (Craigieburn) and Rory MacGregor (Oak Park) will be starting on the wings for their first EDFL Team of the Year selections.

The forward line is stacked with Hillside's Josh Covelli leading the way at full forward.

Jesse Martini (West Coburg) and Mason Dipetta (St Albans) will be starting either side of him to make it 176 regular season goals on the full forward line.

Kane O'Halloran will again start on-field but this year at centre half forward, with Oak Park teammate Anthony Delorenzi and Harry Albon (Craigieburn) on either flank.

Starting on the pine is Elliott, Tom Baravi (West Coburg), Tom Eckel (St Albans), and Khalil Kaakour (Hillside).

All EDFL Teams of the Year are compiled based solely on the input of each club’s senior coach.

The 2025 Strathmore Community Bank Division One Team of the Year was to recognise the best players of the 2025 home-and-away season.

Other factors such as reputation or form in previous seasons were not to be taken into account.
