Who Topped The Women's Goal Kicking Lists?

Ahead of the final day on the Airport Toyota women's footy calendar, we thought we'd look back on the sharpshooters across our senior women's competitions during the regular season.

See who topped each division below!

PREMIER DIVISION

Moana Hope
Aberfeldie – 63 goals

After signing with Aberfeldie and making her EDFL return in 2025, Moana Hope made an immediate impact for the minor premiers breaking the record for the most goals kicked in an EDFL senior women's season. 

She was consistent across much of the 16 games, often putting up impressive numbers at goal in back-to-back games. Hope's most notable game this season was against Oak Park with a staggering nine-goal haul back in Round 2.

Emily Smith
Aberfeldie – 36 goals

Another Aberfeldie talent features on the list, this time through co-coach Emily Smith. Smith was a standout in the Premier Division, dominating forward play and amassing 36 goals in 15 games.

Her performances on the field saw her become a constant threat for opponents. Smith's season best was against Maribyrnong Park where she booted a handy eight goals to help her side take out the win.

Tegan Matthews
Keilor – 32 goals

Tegan Matthews had another fantastic season, with her 32 goals in 16 games securing her third position on this list. Known for her ability to read the play well, Matthews consistently found space to kick crucial majors.

A standout performance came early in the season, where she kicked eight goals in a match-winning display against Maribyrnong Park. Matthews’ sharp finishing made her an invaluable asset to Keilor's campaign in 2025.

Emily Paterno
Hillside – 30 goals

Emily Paterno has been unstoppable this year since returning for the Hillside Sharks. Throughout her 16 games, Paterno consistently turned scoring opportunities into goals.

Paterno's influence was greatly felt in Hillside's Round 6 clash against Greenvale with six goals. Her presence on the field has been a key reason to Hillside’s journey to the grand final.

Nadia Valenti
Moonee Valley – 29 goals

The Moonee Valley captain has shown resilience and leadership all season, kicking 29 goals in a career-best season.

While she played across 15 games this season, her standout performance was against Greenvale back in Round 8. Her eight goals helped Moonee Valley to secure a memorable win.


DIVISION ONE

Caitlyn Crameri
Keilor Park – 27 goals

Finishing with 27 goals across 14 games, Caitlyn Crameri cemented her status as this season's leading goalkicker in Airport Toyota Division One.

Her standout matches this season were in Round 7 and 9 where she kicked five goals against Coburg Districts and Tullamarine respectively.

Talia Motta
Strathmore – 23 goals

With 23 goals to her name in the regular season, Talia Motta remained a forward force after crossing to Strathmore this season. Her ability to turn tight situations into scoring opportunities has been a constant strength she's shown across eight games.

Her season best is a haul of five goals, which Motta bagged across three games against Tullamarine, Burnside Heights, and Tullamarine.

Georgia O'Donovan
Keilor Park – 20 goals

Finishing the regular season with 20 goals, Georgia O'Donovan's relentless energy showed significantly in the forward line.

She often dominated the contest, but a standout for her was seen in Round 7 against Coburg Districts with an impressive four-goal haul.

Holly McGregor
Burnside Heights – 19 goals

Across 14 games, McGregor booted 19 goals playing primarily as a ruck that could swing forward.

Her season best was three goals, which McGregor has racked up on three separate occasions this year, twice against Coburg Districts, and then again against Tullamarine.

Milla Murphy
Strathmore – 15 goals

Milla Murphy's sharpshooting abilities at the goalposts were on full display across 13 games in the regular season. Her 15 goals for Strathmore often turned critical moments into points on the scoreboard.

Her Round 7 outing against Burnside Heights of five goals was a season best for Murphy.


DIVISION TWO

Alexia Todorovic
Gisborne-Kyneton United – 35 goals

A standout in Division Two, Alexia Todorovic showed real dominance for Gisborne-Kyneton United this year. Across 13 games, she finished the regular season with 35 majors.

In the Round 7 clash between Gisborne-Kyneton United and East Sunbury, Todorovic belted a whopping 10 goals on the afternoon, highlighting her attacking prowess.

Stefania Valerio
Taylor Lakes – 33 goals

Stefania Valerio's impressive campaign with Taylor Lakes saw her finish the regular season off with 33 goals.

Across 13 games played, her standout performance was five goals against Roxborough Park, and then again against East Sunbury.

Emma Williams
Gisborne-Kyneton United – 26 goals

Emma Williams finished off with 26 goals across all 14 games of the regular season.

Williams was a pivotal part of Gisborne-Kyneton United's premiership campaign, particularly in Round 14 where she booted five against the Sunbury Lions.

Charlie Goodwin
Taylor Lakes – 26 goals

Charlie Goodwin excelled in Division Two this season kicking 26 majors across 12 games

Six seemed to be a lucky number for Goodwin, with the sharpshooter bagging a six-goal haul against East Sunbury in Round 5, and then against the Sunbury Lions in Round 6.

Brooke Cowan
Gisborne-Kyneton United – 20 goals

Brooke Cowan's goal kicking abilities have shone this season, with the Gisborne-Kyneton United talent making 20 majors across 13 games.

Cowan has produced some memorable highlights this season, including her season best of four goals, twice against East Sunbury.
