Maribyrnong Park will be looking for some relief this weekend after a difficult season when they open up Round 14 with a clash against Greenvale at Walsh Oval.

Both sides will be hungry for redemption following disappointing losses last week.

Marby struggled to hit the scoreboard in a heavy defeat to Moonee Valley, while Greenvale weren't able to fend off a ruthless Hillside unit.

The last time these two sides met was back in Round 3 where Greenvale got the win by 63 points at Greenvale Recreation Reserve.

Kayla Peake was crucial in the win bagging three goals on the afternoon. Jorji Allison and Marli Klaumanns-Moller were also influential, kicking two goals.

While Lexi Bessell and Riley Firman also made an impact for Maribyrnong, each bagging two goals of their own.

Expect a fiery contest at Walsh Oval as each team look to restore pride and find rhythm heading into the final few games of the regular season.

Aberfeldie and Hillside meet at Clifton Park for what's shaping up to be a massive match.

Both sides were successful in securing wins last week with Aberfeldie fresh off of an impressive 65-point win over Keilor, and Hillside racking up a 141-point demolition of Greenvale.

The last time the two sides met was back in Round 8 over at Clifton Park where Aberfeldie secured the win in a 24-point thriller.

Moana Hope was at her usual best with a dominant five-goal performance after being held goalless in their first meeting.

While for the Sharks, Annalise Wilkie stoodout with two goals to her name.

The two sides have met twice this season, with both Aberfeldie and the Sharks claiming a win apiece. This upcoming clash will break the deadlock and decide who takes the edge before heading into the finals.

It'll be a high stakes battle between two genuine premiership contenders.

Essendon Doutta Stars and Keilor will face off at Nipper Jordan Oval, both heading into the match with a point to prove.

Last week saw Keilor struggle to get a hold on Aberfeldie's defence. The Stars also fell short of the win against Oak Park in their recent match.

The last time the two sides met was in Round 8 where it was the Stars who cruised to a comfortable win, defeating Keilor by 24 points.

Ada Pizzinga was among the highlights in the win with her three goals going a long way in helping her side reign victorious.

Natalie Dunne, Olivia Manfre, and Melda Temurci were the goal scorers for Keilor.

Between the two sides, the Stars have secured the win both times they've met each other so far in 2025.

With both teams eager to rebound, expect a tough midfield grind to shape the outcome at Nipper Jordan Oval.

Moonee Valley will be hoping for a return to the winner's circle when they meet Oak Park at Ormond Park.

Last week, they cruised to a confident win against Maribyrnong Park. Oak Park were successful in gaining victory over the Stars, despite some goalkicking inaccuracies.

The last time the two sides met was back in Round 6 where Moonee Valley suffered a brutal defeat at the hands of their opponents and failed to register a point on the board.

Stephanie Normington-Dickens impressed on ground, bagging three goals.

Emily Findlay and Tamsyn Kirk also contributed, kicking two goals of their own.

Despite the result last time, expect a fast start from both sides as they chase crucial premiership points.

An Oak Park win will help their double chance hopes, while Moonee Valley needs to upset the top three to play finals.

Tullamarine open up the Round 12 fixture with a match this weekend at Keilor Park Recreation Reserve.

They'll be out to respond after falling just short of a win against Burnside Heights by 24 points.

However, they'll have Keilor Park in their sights, who are fresh off a week off after they were handed the points following Coburg Districts forfeiting.

The last time the two sides met was back in Round 9 where Keilor Park toppled Tullamarine by 93-points.

Caitlyn Crameri was unstoppable kicking five goals, while Georgia O'Donovan also shone with her performance that included three goals.

The two sides have already met twice this season, with Keilor Park winning both times.

After a forfeit last week, Coburg Districts will be eager for a chance at redemption in what has been a tough 2025 campaign.

They'll be looking forward to get back onto the field, going up against Westmeadows at Cole Reserve.

But it won't be an easy game for them, with Westmeadows fresh off of a 51-point loss to Strathmore and also looking for redemption.

Round 10 was the last time the two sides went head to head where Westmeadows got the win in the gritty 10-point thriller.

Gemma Wright kicked two goals for Westmeadows. Meanwhile, Bridget Aparo, Mariam Khoder, and Kristie Martin kicked a goal each for Coburg Districts.

Round 10 marked the second win for Westmeadows against Coburg Districts, with the side also securing a win earlier in Round 1.

Both teams will be eyeing a reset and a win in this pivotal clash.

Strathmore rounds out the fixture with a clash against Burnside Heights

They continue to topple opponents, with their accuracy the only blemish in an otherwise dominant 51-point showing against Westmeadows last week.

The Bears showed grit and were composed when they took down Tullamarine in a hard-fought 24-point win.

The last time the two sides met was back in Round 7 where the Bears suffered a defeat after a loss by 131 points.

Talia Motta was on fire kicking five goals in a sensational outing against Burnside Heights. Her Strathmore teammate, Milla Murphy, also shone with five of her own goals.

Holly McGregor was a highlight for the Bears kicking the side's only goal of the game.

Strathmore and the Bears have met twice this season, with the undefeated Mores getting up on both occasions.

This game should be an arm wrestle early, but if Strathmore get on top around stoppages, they could stretch it out and potentially take out the win.

Roxburgh Park hosts the Sunbury Lions to open the penultimate round of Airport Toyota Division Two at Lakeside Reserve.

With both sides still in contention for a finals ticket, this one will be interesting.

Roxy enters Saturday following a shootout against the second-ranked side, in which it won by two, while the Lions look to turn things around after a loss to Gisborne.

The Lions won it by 33 points last time they met in Round 5 when Samantha Burnside kicked five.

She’s been a handful for opposition this season, but standing in her way is some of Roxy’s goalkicking power in Jameson Best and Summa Blackburn.

While a 6-5 record may give Roxburgh Park the upper hand, don’t rule the Lions out of this one just yet.

Taylors Lakes will host the Sunbury Kangaroos at Lionheart Reserve for the second time this month in a massive top four clash.

With the Kangaroos winning both prior meetings by 35 and 25, will they be able to produce a 3-0 whitewash in the ‘series’?

And with just percentage separating the two sides, the winner will take second place…for now.

In a match stacked full of talent such as Taylors Lakes' Stefania Valerio and Charlie Goodwin igniting in front of goals, and Roos’ Tylah Bell leading the club with nine best-on listings, get ready for a strong contest.

And while we look forward to see these two in finals footy, this match is crucial for the hunt of the double-chance.

Sankey Reserve gets one last match for the season as Gisborne hosts East Sunbury.

With a qualifying final locked in for Gisborne and the minor premiership secured, the Dogs have nothing to lose in this one and will look to continue their perfect streak.

And while that’ll most likely be the case, attention turns to how East Sunbury take to the challenge.

With the Thunder goalless against the Dogs in the previous two meetings, the aim here will be to score that elusive goal.

Scoring two goals in consecutive games for the first time in club history has been one of the highlights of the season for the Thunder.

And with the club still on that roll, will they get one against the premiership favourites?

Thunder’s captain Rhiana Kirk has shown us just why she holds that title in 2025, with four goals and eight best-on listings to her list of honours for the season.
