It was a family affair at Pascoe Vale on the weekend as fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters shined together across the EDFL stage.
Fourteen football families featured both on and off field for Pascoe Vale in the one weekend.
From Premier Division to the rising stars of junior football, these Pascoe Vale families were everywhere.
SAM AND DANIEL HARRIS - PREMIER DIVISION SENIORS
The Harris family was on full display on Saturday in Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division as Pascoe Vale picked up its third win of the season.
Father-son combo Daniel and Sam Harris headlined in their first game together.
Former North Melbourne and Gold Coast midfielder Daniel Harris was the Panthers’ playing-coach after assuming the head coaching role for the remainder of the season following Leigh Tudor's departure.
Daniel played 149 AFL games for North Melbourne before moving north to become an inaugural Gold Coast Sun in 2011.
He has since spent a number of seasons as a player and coach in the EDFL, featuring in game 66 with Pascoe Vale on the weekend.
Sam, the football prodigy son of Daniel, too suited up for the Premier Division side on Saturday.
After a seven-game stint in the Coates Talent League for the Calder Cannons, the 17-year-old made his senior debut.
Sam booted two goals and racked up 19 possessions while Daniel kicked two goals with eight possessions.
ETHAN AND RHYS RITCHIE - PREMIER DIVISION SENIORS
The Ritchies suited up for Premier Division action as Ethan and Rhys took to the field.
The pair have always played football together, with footballing careers spanning more than 160 games over the years.
Ethan has featured in four Premier Division matches including all three of the sides’ wins, picking up 10 touches on Saturday.
Rhys has contested in six of Pascoe Vale’s matches and averages 21 disposals, five clearances, and five inside 50s.
It certainly was a day out for Rhys as he led the match’s goalkicking with a bag of seven, while also on fire with 30 disposals.
MAX AND SEB CARTA - PREMIER DIVISION SENIORS
The Carta's are Pascoe Vale Premier Division regulars with Max contesting seven Premier Division hit outs, and Seb contesting nine.
The Carta's were in full force on Saturday in the big win over East Keilor.
Seb had 20 disposals while Max had 15.
The brothers were on display in the Panthers’ 2023 and 2024 Under 18.5s Premier Division grand final appearances, winning in 2023.
SUNNY AND JOE BRAZIER - PREMIER DIVISION SENIORS
Brothers Sunny and Joe Brazier featured in their first game together in the big win over East Keilor.
Sunny has been a seniors regular since crossing over to the club for the 2023 season, while Joe is making his return to footy featuring eight times in the reserves this season.
Joe kicked a goal on senior debut while Sunny had 29 disposals and 10 tackles.
AARON AND TEENA HILTON - PREMIER DIVISION SENIORS
Aaron Hilton is a regular senior player when not on VFL duties with the Bullants, with mother Teena a long-serving team manager of the senior side.
Aaron was selected with the Bullants on Sunday and served as the match day official for Saturday's game at East Keilor.
THE PARAGALLI FAMILY - PREMIER DIVISION RESERVES
The Paragalli’s made their mark on Pascoe Vale’s Premier Division Reserves stage as the Panthers starred in the 131-point win.
Coached by Thomas Paragalli who is currently out due to injury like brother Jordan, the Panthers picked up their fifth win of the season to keep their finals hopes alive.
It was Ben’s first game since April and first in Premier Division Reserves after a short stint in the Under 18.5s list.
Preston debuted for the reserves in stunning fashion kicking a goal, we’ll have to see just how far he travels alongside his brothers.
The Paragalli name doesn't stop there with father Tony the current club president.
ADAM AND BILLY CONTESSA - UNDER 18.5 MEN'S PREMIER DIVISION
The Panthers’ 37-point win over East Keilor in the Under 18.5s was highlighted by former AFL talent and a son who’s on the rise.
Adam Contessa, the former Western Bulldog who played 45 senior matches across 1997 to 2001 suited up to coach the Panthers at Overland Reserve last Saturday.
The side sailed to take the chocolates, with Adam's son Billy showing another strong effort in his 2025 campaign.
Billy has been one of the side’s most consistent players, lining up in all but one of the side’s 2025 clashes.
SIMON AND MYA CATALDO - UNDER 16 GIRLS DIVISION 2
The Panthers’ 33-point win in Under 16 Girls Division 2 was coached by Simon Cataldo with daughter Mya also appearing.
It was a good win for the side as they picked up their third win in a row.
CHRIS AND AUTUMN PORTER - UNDER 16 GIRLS DIVISION 2
Another father-daughter duo starred for these Panthers as Chris Porter fulfilled role of Assistant Coach yet again, and daughter Autumn contested in another Panthers’ win.
THE SCOTT FAMILY
The Scott family was all over the ball across the weekend with appearances across many levels of football.
Father Jason Scott is one of the Panthers’ Thirds players who is also an assistant coach of the Under 18.5s Women’s Panthers where his daughter Leah features.
Leah was one of two goal scorers for the Panthers in its Under 18.5 Women’s outing.
Son Noah booted one through the big sticks along with 30 touches in the side’s Premier Division win.
Daughter Phoebe didn’t feature on the weekend but is usually a regular in the Under 16 Girls Division 2 side, and has even featured in that Under 18.5 side with Leah and Jason.
THE OGSTON FAMILY
Grant Ogston is continuing the Ogston family legacy, a name etched in club history.
Grant’s father, Alan Ogston, is a Life Member, 317-game legend, and part of the Panther's Team of the Century.
His sons Corey and Ryder have proudly worn the jumper, and daughter Georgia has clocked over 100 games.
The Ogston family continues to give back, currently managing the Under 16s Division 4 team.
BEN AND CAMERON PASCOE
The Pascoe's are a family "synonymous with the club". Ben played in the Reserves and brother Cameron played in the Under 18.5s where he is also the captain.
THE LIPAROTA FAMILY
Steven, Michael, Dominic, and Frank Liparota represent the Panthers in the Thirds on Friday nights, playing with "pride and unity".
RESERVES
Estelle Radio, team manager, leads with heart alongside brother Adrian Radio, fiancé Matthew Petrevski, and cousin Rocky Gallicchio.
