The EDFL and Essendon Football Club would like to congratulate May’s Volunteer of the Month, Colin Cooke from the Roxburgh Park Football Club!
Colin is one of Roxburgh Park’s most dedicated weekly volunteers. He shows up with towels and an esky for the team every game, arrives early to set up the goal post pads, and is the last to stick around to clean up after a home match day.
Colin has been a dedicated water carrier for nearly a decade and more recently has coordinated the collecting and recycling of bottles, bringing in thousands of dollars for the club each year.
Colin is a truly outstanding volunteer, and an absolute legend.
