The EDFL wishes to congratulate the 10 senior players and goal umpire Jenna Green who will be involved in Sunday's VFLW grand final!
Five EDFL clubs will be represented with members of their senior women's cohorts getting the nod for Sunday's decider.
Greenvale pair Alana Barba and Renee Tierney will feature for the Roos alongside VFLW leading goal kicker Nyakoat Dojiok (Essendon Doutta Stars) and Hillside homegrown Emily Paterno.
Felicity Theodore (Hillside) and Kiara Delia (Greenvale) have played four and three VFLW games respectively in 2024 and have been named as emergencies.
Mali McLeod will look to be as damaging in the forward line as Douttas teammate Dojiok but instead for the Western Bulldogs, with Moonee Valley pair Tamsin Crook and Courtney Ugle holding defensive posts for the Dogs.
Keilor's Eleanor Cornish has been named as an emergency after appearing in four games this season.
Former EDFL Goal Umpire Jenna Green will feature in goals adding to her impressive list of achievements at the State League level, following her officiation in the 2023 Coates Girls Grand Final.
Jenna is in her second year at State League Level and after winning the 2023 coaches award and continuing to show exceptional skills and dedication, she has been added to the 2024 AFLW umpires list.
The 2024 VFLW grand final will be played at ETU Stadium at 12:10pm on Sunday with free entry and will be broadcast live on Channel 7.
