Aberfeldie takes on Westmeadows at Clifton Park this Saturday to kickstart Premier Division action.
Third place Aberfeldie should have a relatively easy task this weekend against the winless Westmeadows, however they will be sure to not take them lightly.
With finals just a few weeks away, Aberfeldie will be looking to gain as much momentum as they can in these last games before the finals series and will see their game against Westmeadows as a perfect way to do that.
As a tough year for Westmeadows begins to draw to a close, the Tigers are still searching for a win as they look to avoid going winless for an entire season.
While it’s almost certain they will now finish last and be relegated, they would love to take at least one win with them.
Keilor hosts Essendon Doutta Stars at Green Gully Reserve.
The last time these two sides played it was Essendon Doutta Stars who triumphed by 43 points, with Keilor managing just the one goal.
Based on current form, the result is likely to be similar this time around as Doutta appears to be just too strong for Keilor.
Doutta Stars are, however, in a bit of a vulnerable position at the moment, having not won a match since back in Round 6 when they thumped Moonee Valley.
While many of these losses were against top teams, they will be keen to get some wins on the board with a finals spot up for grabs.
The undefeated Hillside will face off against Moonee Valley at Hillside Recreation Reserve.
Hillside are closing in on completing a perfect season as they have won all 11 of their matches so far with just three games remaining before finals.
The Sharks will be very confident that their streak will continue against Moonee Valley this weekend as they beat them earlier in the season by 79 points and have only improved since then.
Forward Caitlin Sargent has been key to Hillside's dominance this season scoring 34 goals in 11 games and will be hoping for a bag this week as she looks to regain top spot on the goal kicking leaderboard.
Moonee Valley will go into this week’s match as heavy underdogs despite impressive form over the last few weeks where they've won three of their last four matches and sit in fifth position.
While the Valley will know they will be up against it, they will still give 100 percent in an attempt to be the first side to defeat Hillside this year.
Oak Park plays Maribyrnong Park at JP Fawkner Reserve this weekend.
The Oakers currently sit in second place as their hopes of being back-to-back premiers are still very much intact.
They have lost just the two matches so far this year – both against Hillside who are their main rival for the flag this year.
Oak Park will be looking to make sure they have no setbacks against teams they should beat like Marby Park in their last few games before finals.
The last time Oak Park and Marby played each other was back in Round 5 when Oak Park came out victorious by 55 points in what was a commanding victory.
Marby appears to have significantly improved since that outing but still remain firm underdogs in the rematch as Oak Park remain one of the top teams in the comp.
The key to Marby’s hopes will be Tegan Matthews who leads the league goal kicking this season with 36 goals in 11 games.
A big game by her will go a long way in seeing Marby winning the match.
Keilor Park hosts Burnside Heights at Keilor Park Recreation Reserve this Saturday.
Keilor Park have had a big last three weeks with two wins and a draw ensuring they will not finish last this season, but now face the daunting task of playing the best team in the division.
The last time these two sides met it was Burnside who came out on top by 126 points with Keilor Park unable to register a single goal.
While Keilor Park have since gone on to find great form, they will know it’ll be a tough task to overcome Burnside.
The Bears season just continues to get better after comfortably defeating Tulla by 78 points last weekend as they look to be peaking at the right time of the year.
Tullamarine takes on Greenvale at Leo Dineen Reserve.
Tullamarine have endured a tough season so far having only won the three games, but are almost a certainty to avoid the wooden spoon which will be a big positive.
The two sides have met on two previous occasions this year with Greenvale coming out on top in both instances.
The first time was a thrashing by Greenvale who won by 66 points and didn’t allow Tulla to score a goal.
The second time was a closer affair, but Greenvale still won by a comfortable 20 points.
While Greenvale will no doubt be the favourites in this matchup, they are in the midst of a two game losing streak.
Greenvale will be desperate to find their best form again and will see this match as a good opportunity to start building towards finals.
Strathmore/Pascoe Vale will battle it out against Airport West at Raeburn Reserve this weekend.
Strathmore/Pascoe Vale will be aware that this week's match is a must win if they are to avoid last place on the ladder.
The combined side has won just one game this year and need to win their last two matches and hope Tulla loses their last two matches (plus percentage) if they are to avoid the wooden spoon.
The two sides have met on two previous occasions this season with Airport West coming out on top both times.
The first time Airport West won easily by 65 points but the most recent time was a closer affair with just three points separating the sides.
Airport West claimed a massive win last week finally defeating a top two team for the first time this season.
The win should give them massive confidence moving forward and they will be determined to keep up their winning ways to ensure they peak during the finals series.
Glenroy takes on Coburg Districts at Sewell Reserve this weekend with the Roys playing their final game of the season.
It’ll take Glenroy’s absolute best if they are to claim a victory this week as last time they played Coburg Districts they went down by 89 points.
Coburg Districts currently sit in second spot on the ladder having not lost a game since all the way back in Round 7.
The Districts seem to have hit their best form at the right time and will be looking to continue their winning streak into the finals as they look to go all the way.
Roxburgh Park hosts Sunbury Kangaroos at Lakeside Reserve in the Kangaroos' first game in three weeks.
Roxburgh Park currently sit in third place but are only ahead of fourth and fifth on percentage, and with their opponent this week sitting in fifth spot, it's a must win game.
The last time the two sides met was in Round 11 where Roxy triumphed easily by 53 points as the Kangaroos were held goalless for the entire match.
The Sunbury Kangaroos will be out to demonstrate they are a better team than what they showed last time they faced Roxy.
Top of the ladder Sunbury Lions will battle it out with Taylors Lakes at Clarke Oval in a twilight fixture.
The Sunbury Lions will be looking to avoid any late falters as they look to hold onto top spot as the season draws to a close.
Taylors Lakes are still in the hunt for finals currently occupying fourth spot.
They will be giving their all in this Saturday’s match as they will know that a win will go a long way to securing them a finals position.
