GLENROY has unsurprisingly dominated selection in the official 2017 Essendon Ford Division 1 Team of the Year.
The premier has five representatives in this year's side - as selected by the senior coaches of Essendon Ford Division 1.
Centre half back Travis Dulic has been named captain for this year's side while Ross Terranova has been named coach.
Somewhat surprisingly, Westmeadows, a non-finalist this season, is the next-best represented club with four players selected in the final side, edging out finalists Airport West, Hillside and Tullamarine - who each have three representatives.
Two playing coaches have been included, with East Keilor's Ash Arrowsmith a near-unanimous lock for a half back spot and Oak Park's Michael Hooper scoring the most nods for starting ruck.
Eight of the nine clubs in the division are represented in the side - the winless Hadfield the only side without a rep.
Also, a total of eight 2016 Essendon Ford Division 1 Team of the Year members have retained their place among this year's best 22.

HOW THE TEAM WAS SELECTED
As per last year’s regulations, the Essendon Ford Division 1 Team of the Year was compiled by the accumulation of each senior coach’s selections for Team of the Year.
All senior coaches in Essendon Ford Division 1 were invited to submit their Teams of the Year, based on 2017 home-and-away season performances.
Finals performances were not to be considered.
Players with the most overall selections were then placed into their positions based on where they were most often selected by each coach.
