EXPERIENCED Westmeadows recruit Brad Sutcliffe has ended his first year as a Tiger as their best-and-fairest winner.

The 30-year-old who formerly spent time with both Port Melbourne and Avondale Heights had an outstanding season in yellow and black, ranking among Westmeadows' best players on 11 occasions from his 15 games.

Sutcliffe finished 20 votes clear of fellow Port Melbourne Colts recruit Justin Taylor - the Hutchison Medal runner-up in Essendon Ford Division 1.

Home-grown Aaron Evans was third, capping off a solid year for the youngster after being selected in the Essendon Ford Division 1 Team of the Year alongside both Sutcliffe and Taylor.
