STAR defender Josh Toy now has the honour of being a best-and-fairest winner in a premiership year.
In what was a very close count at Aberfeldie's night of nights, Toy claimed the main prize by a single vote over fellow 2017 EDFL Interleague rep, Sam Cattapan.
Skipper Luke Davis was also in the top five while Hislop brothers Zach and Caleb also had outstanding seasons for the Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division champions.
Toy did not miss a single game in 2017 and also snuck in seven goals along the way.
