Strathmore To Host Aberfeldie At Windy Hill As Part Of Fixture Changes

Senior Men’s Fixtures Now Online

STRATHMORE’S Round 10 clash with Aberfeldie will now be played at Windy Hill after the two Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division heavyweights agreed to have it moved from Lebanon Reserve.

The two rivals will face off in Round 1 at Clifton Park, as per originally scheduled, but their second meeting will now take place at the home of EDFL football on June 29.

The move is one of four changes made to the original 2019 Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division fixture, all of which have now been published to SportsTG.

The other three changes all concern Pascoe Vale, who cannot play on its home turf at Raeburn Reserve until May due to ongoing works on the playing surface.

The Panthers were originally scheduled to play their first two games of the season at home against Greenvale and Essendon Doutta Stars, but will now play those two games elsewhere.

The Greenvale fixtures for Rounds 1 and 10 have been swapped, with the Round 1 game to now be played at Greenvale Reserve and Round 10 to be played at Raeburn.

The Round 2 clash with Essendon Doutta Stars has been moved to Hadfield’s Martin Reserve and will remain a Pascoe Vale home game.

No change has been made to the return fixture in Round 11.

All changes apply to senior and reserves fixtures.

Meanwhile, the Round 6 Division 1 clash between Westmeadows and East Keilor is now a twilight game kicking off at 5pm.

Also, the highly-anticipated Round 2 Strathmore Community Bank Division 2 clash between the Sunbury Kangaroos and East Sunbury will now be played under lights at 7pm.

All finalised senior men's fixtures can now be found here.

The EDFL is currently working on the release of remaining fixtures all Under 19s, Senior Women’s and Junior competitions.

On Friday, the league released the final structure of the two EDFL Women’s divisions, to be officially known as EDFL Women’s - Premier and EDFL Women’s - Division 1.
