Strathmore Community Bank & EDFL Extend Partnership

New Deal Confirmed

THE EDFL has agreed in principle to a new four-year deal with major sponsor, Strathmore Community Bank.

The new agreement ensures Strathmore Community Bank will remain as the league’s major sponsor until the completion of the 2024 season.

“In such uncertain and unprecedented times that we currently find ourselves in, it is a great result for both the EDFL and the Strathmore Community Bank,” league CEO Ian Kyte told essendondfl.com.au.

“The prompt resolution shows the strong relationship that the bank has established with the EDFL since 2014.

“It is of great financial security for the league in such testing times, not only with health and safety but also with financial sustainability.”

The new deal includes naming rights for all three of the EDFL’s senior men’s divisions, with Strathmore Community Bank Division 1 now joining Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division and Strathmore Community Bank Division 2 in carrying the bank’s name.

“It is of significance to the Strathmore Community Bank that we are pleased to again partner the EDFL as major sponsor,” bank chairman Peter Brown said.

“We look forward to assisting the league and its clubs as they strive to bring football back to our local community in a safe and sustainable manner.”
