Mid-Season Break Doesn't Stop Short In Magpies Vote Count

Club-by-Club B&F Series

CAPTAIN Harley Short has claimed Roxburgh Park's best-and-fairest despite missing a month of footy mid-season.

The 24-year-old hard-nut did not play from Rounds 8 to 11 but was still Roxburgh Park's best player for the year - earning selection from the coaches in the Strathmore Community Bank Division 2 Team of the Year.

Short finished the Magpies' vote count 15 votes clear of 2017 EDFL Under Interleague rep and AGA Apprenticeships Plus Rising Star nominee, Jack Elliott.

Carlos Ardon, Mark Sabatino and Adrian MacKinnon rounded out Roxburgh Park's top five.
