EDFL Women's Final Round Preview - Friday Night Edition

By JULIA MONTESANO

ROXBURGH PARK v KEILOR PARK

Friday 7pm @ Lakeside Oval

A BOTTOM-OF-THE-TABLE clash provides a great opportunity for both sides to end their season on a high.

If the Devils can get up, it would be their first EDFL Women’s win but without firepower up forward, this may be a difficult task to achieve.

Roxburgh Park would be hoping that goalkickers, Freedom Ebert and Chloe Dinnucio, as well as the Devine sisters, will be able to score some majors in the forward line.

For Keilor Park, Samantha German and Caitlyn Simon would be hoping to boot some much-needed goals, with the side on a percentage of just 7.98.

The Devils only managed to score one major last week, but would not be giving up hope, as Roxburgh Park hasn’t won a game since Round 3.

The Magpies put in a brave performance last week against Strathmore, keeping the Mores to just 38 points on the night.

This game really is anyone’s to win, and it will certainly be an intriguing battle full of celebration for whoever is lucky enough to come away with the four points.
