THE three senior EDFL Grand Finals will be played across three separate weekends in 2018.
The League today released a draft senior men’s fixture to its clubs, with each of the three divisions’ home-and-away seasons to conclude on separate weekends in August.
Season 2018 will begin with two standalone Good Friday games on March 30 with Keilor hosting Strathmore and Hillside taking on Taylors Lakes.
Round 1 in Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division and Strathmore Community Bank Division 2 will then take place on Saturday April 7, while Essendon Ford Division 1 will commence a week later on Saturday April 14.
As a result, each Grand Final will be spread over a three-week period in September.
All other competition structures will remain the same, including the final four system in finals.
The EDFL will release the confirmed final 2018 fixture in its entirety in coming weeks.

July 21 & 28: – Round 14 Split Round (Premier Division only)
September 1 or 2: Strathmore Community Bank Division 2 Grand Final
September 8 or 9: Essendon Ford Division 1 Grand Final
September 15: Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division Grand Final
