EDFL Classics - 2016 Premier Division Grand Final

Watch On Facebook Premiere

THE 2016 Strathmore Community Bank Premier Division Grand Final was memorable for many reasons.

Firstly, you had one of the league's most decorated players of the modern era, Dean Galea, on the verge of booting his hundredth goal for the season on the biggest day of the year.

Also, a full two years before he was drafted by North Melbourne, you had a fresh-faced 16-year-old gun named Curtis Taylor, playing in only his fourth senior game, become one of the EDFL's youngest ever senior premiership players.

The match-up itself was a big one, with the well-led Keilor playing in its first decider since 2008 going up against an immensely talented Aberfeldie line-up aiming to win the club's first back-to-back premiership.

Re-live the 2016 Grand Final, in full with original radio commentary, now on facebook.com/essendondfl via Facebook Premiere.
