Allowable Player Payments Disciplinary Committee Findings

Confirmation of Findings & Outcomes


THE EDFL wishes to confirm the following after tonight’s Allowable Player Payments Disciplinary Committee Hearings conducted at Windy Hill.

ESSENDON DOUTTA STARS FC – BREACH 1

Essendon Doutta Stars FC has breached Player Payment Rule 4(b)(i) for not lodging all Non-Contracted Player Statements within the prescribed time frames.

The Club has not been sanctioned for this breach.

ESSENDON DOUTTA STARS FC – BREACH 2

Essendon Doutta Stars FC has breached Player Payment Rule 4(d)(i) for not disclosing all player payments in its Final Declaration.

The Club has been reprimanded for this breach.


PASCOE VALE FC – BREACH 1

Pascoe Vale FC has breached Player Payment Rule 4(a)(i) for not lodging all player contracts within the prescribed time frames.

PASCOE VALE FC – BREACH 2

Pascoe Vale FC has breached Player Payment Rule 4(b)(ii) for not lodging all Non-Contracted Player Statements within the required time frames.

PASCOE VALE FC – BREACH 3

Pascoe Vale FC has breached Player Payment Rule 4(d)(i)(c) for not disclosing all of its player payments as part of its Final Declaration.

The Club has been fined $1000 and will be audited again in 2018.


ABERFELDIE FC – BREACH 1

Aberfeldie FC has breached Player Payment Rule 2(a)(i) for exceeding its 2017 Allowable Player Payments budget of $250,000 by $9595.

The Club has been fined $10,000 and will be audited again in 2018 and 2019.


This concludes the Allowable Player Payments Program for the 2017 EDFL season.
