2020 Season Preview Series - Jacana

#EDFL2020

2019 RECAP

After being relegated out of Division 1 at the end of the 2018 season, Jacana returned to Strathmore Community Bank Division 2 in 2019 but struggled to get going with limited playing stocks.

After going 1-6 and only managing to defeat lowly Keilor Park, Jacana withdrew from the competition for the remainder of the season.

2020 PREVIEW

INCOMING TRANSFERS

Glenn McIntyre (Longwood), Corey McDonnell (Airport West), Corey McCawley (Oak Park), Matthew Sinnett (Oak Park) & Ben Mack (La Trobe University)

EDFL MEDIA SAYS

Given the club's unique circumstances and the ongoing uncertainty that looms over the entire upcoming season, Jacana remains a complete unknown going into 2020.

The Jags are confident of fielding at least one senior team this year, just as Keilor Park did last year but much like the Devils of 2019, its unlikely this new side will be able to clinch many wins.

To see the famous purple and gold jumper back on the park is all we're hoping for this year as Jacana looks to find its feet in the EDFL once more.
