2020 Season Preview Series - Greenvale

#EDFL2020

2019 RECAP

Greenvale finished a game and a half out of top four contention with a 10-8 record in 2019.

Aside from a Round 1 win over Pascoe Vale, the Jets struggled against the division's four eventual finalists, losing seven of the eight games played against the top four sides.

Close losses away from home against Maribyrnong Park and Strathmore in the second half of the season ultimately cost the Jets a place in the 2019 finals series.

EDFL MEDIA SAYS

The Jets' depth has taken a bit of a hit over the summer but with premiership trio Rowan Nayna, James Rohan and Dean Smith all now back at Section Road, combined with good overall numbers, their playing list is still in pretty good shape.

Expect Greenvale to keep developing its younger talent at senior level throughout the year, especially if injuries begin to take hold like they have in the recent past.

Despite its younger list demographic, Greenvale should again be pushing for a finals berth this season.
